Random Pictures From August...

On August 26th Scott, Kacie and I were suppose to meet Harlan and Kendalee and their kids at the Pat Benatar concert at the Idaho Fair and we got in such bad traffic we decided not to go and ended up shopping and going out to dinner instead.  We still had a lot of fun even though we heard we missed a great concert.

Just some random pictures I took of the kids getting ready for bed one night on August 29th.

These are the treats we are giving the primary kids in the stake for their primary programs.  We decided to do something different other than candy this year.   I thought I would get a early start putting them together even though the first one isn't until September 18th. Going to all the programs is the best part of my calling.

1st Day of School 2016-17

Can't believe it's that time of year of again.  I no longer have any kids in the elementary and Kacie is a senior, I'm so sad and Brady is in 6th grade now!  I sure hope they have a great year!

 I have to admit I didn't miss the chaos trying to drop Brady off at the Elementary...it went so smooth at the middle school.

Family Movie Night...

We went to see the new Pete's Dragon movie with Ron and Stacie's family. It was a really cute movie. Kacie was on a date at the Caldwell Night Rodeo with Carson. After the movie we had to get a picture and then we went to Kiwi Loco. It was a fun night and it was so nice to have Ron and Scott with us too.

Kacie's Senior Pictures...

Had so much fun snapping some senior pictures of Kacie.  I'd have to say they turned out pretty good for an amateur like me, but I had a pretty girl to work with!

Birthday Weekend...

Scott and I ran over to Costco on Friday and he took me to my favorite restaurant for my birthday...Zupas!  I love their Wisconsin cauliflower soup and salads plus we shared a birthday treat of cheesecake.

Sunday we had a big birthday dinner at mom's house for Ron, Stacie and myself! It was fun and the food was great!

Kid's Fun in Vegas...

Kacie and Brady went with Mom and Dad to Vegas to see Sadie's baptism. They left August 5th around 7:00 am and came back August 10th. They had a blast swimming, bowling, going to a cactus botanical garden and chocolate factory plus the movies and lots of games.  Oh and Sadie's baptism of course.

Brady kinda had a meltdown because no one wanted to take him down to the strip so he could watch the Bellagio fountains so Hanna took him on top of the roof so he could see the lights.  That helped a little...

Scott and I sure missed them and were glad when they returned safely.  We could have had a little mini vacation if Scott didn't have to work so much.  He had to do all of Dad's irrigating.
