Go Big Blue...

It is always fun going to the footballs games with these girls. We played Vale and lost 13-12. I think the only thing Vale had over us was a good kicker other than that I think we were pretty even.

Brady Attends A Special Olympic Football Camp...

Brady brought this home from school and I was surprised when he told me he wanted to do it so I got him registered.
Ryan was a great sport to come and give him moral support.
Brady didn't want to get his feet wet on the grass so they started playing catch on the track.
He finally made it to the field but not too excited about everything yet!
The whole group of kids with some of the Vale High School football players.  The one on the far left is the one who chose this activity for his senior project.  I thought it was a great idea.
Brady's idea of exercise...haha!
It took him a little while to get going but when I started videoing him he started getting into it.
His favorite drill was attacking the mats.
Brady's team...he did okay until someone pulled his flag and we had a little melt down.  I should have prepared him better for that.

All was better when they offered him food!

Monday during the JV halftime they had the kids play a little scrimmage.  They had them run onto the field in a tunnel made by the cheerleaders and they announced all their names.  To get Brady a touchdown they had Ryan holding the ball next to him and Brady held onto his flags so no one would take them.  They still called out his name and gave Brady the credit for the touchdown.  It was too funny.
The high school players were so cute with them.  One of the little guys was running for a touchdown and a bunch of the high school boys were diving for him and making it look like they couldn't catch him before he scored.  I think Brady's favorite part was after when the cheerleaders told him good job!  He was blushing a little.

September Fun...

We went to a CofI football game on September 3rd with Jason Pearson.  It was fun even though it was a rough game for the yotes!

On September 4th we went to help Nanette pack up some things.  She is moving to Utah to be closer to her kids.   We then stole Brandon for a little while and took him to get some ice cream and just hung out for a while.  We would have longer except he had an accident and we had to take him back to get him cleaned up.\

Brady stayed so he could go to Vaughn and Barbara's for a dinner for Evelyn's baptism.  Mom got some cute pictures of him holding Xander.  I guess he asked to hold him, which was cute!
Brandon's home sent me this picture of him trying on Halloween costumes.
It's perfect because he loves mustard...too cute!

September 8th Jocelyn turned 18...crazy!
I don't want these girls to grow any more!
Time is flying way too fast!

27th Anniversary...

Kacie posted this picture on Instagram for our anniversary.  She said, "Happy 27th Anniversary to my favorite couple, so glad I get to call you my mom and dad!"  I thought it was so sweet!
Scott and I were able to go to the Anniversary Inn and we had a really nice room called the Hollywood room.  It was a very enjoyable and relaxing night.

We even had our own soda fountain.

They had the TV enclosed to make it look like a theater.

Our delicious breakfast and we had cheesecake the night before.

Sure love this guy.
After we left we went shopping for a new mattress and ended up buying a sleep number bed.  We were able to get it 50% off which still ended up costing us a fortune but we have three years to pay it off interest free.  We then ate at Chili's  We had a great time!
We also got new pillows, duvet with shams and sheets...
I love how it looks and having our room changed around too!
