Talk & Father's Day & Wade's Walking...

It was a bummer I had t'o speak on Father's Day, but it went okay.  It was a new experience speaking at the Spanish branch.  I would say a sentence, then I had an interpreter say it in Spanish.  I spoke on Elder Uchtdorf's talk titled, "Fath in Our Fathers."  After church, we had Father's Day dinner at Mom and Dad's. It was nice having Rosie there with us.  I made a vanilla Texas Sheetcake.  Scott loved it.

The most exciting thing was seeing Wade walking.  He finally figured it out on Father's Day.  He was taking two to three steps at Mckinley's wedding and when he was here at Demo Days, but now he is really doing it.

Allan Alder's Funeral...

Uncle Allan is finally back with his sweetheart.

On June 19th, Scott and I drove up to Kennewick, WA.  Brady went up earlier with Mom, Dad, and Rosie so he could go out to dinner with all of Diana's family.  Reid was able to find a flight, and Teniele and Rusty also drove up.  We all arrived at the hotel about the same time.  After we settled in Reid went with us to Subzero for some ice cream.
The service was really good.  He was a great man. It's crazy that Jason Walker was his bishop.   We had sack lunches on our way to Hermiston for the graveside service.  At first I thought it was strang but they ended up being really good.  It was nice to see so much family.

Hailey's Mission Farewell & Lindsay's New Truck & 18th Birthday...

We are so happy for Hailey.  I'm happy we got to at least listen to her farewell talk since we wern't able to be there.  I love how honest and real she was.  She will do great things in Germany.

Fun to see all of Preston's family together.

Ron promised Lindsay he would buy her a car if she broke a state track record.  That was her freshman year, and now, after her junior year and another state track record she finally got her car which was a new Ford Rnager.

I can't believe this cutie is 18 years old.  We had a fun party.
We gave her a screen protector for her new pickup.

June Memories...

What a handsome boy on June 3, 2026.
Wade is such a good helper, helping his Mama pack.  He put in the book that Mom made him. haha!
Brielle was set apart on June 9, 2026.  I
still can't believe she is serving in Cancun, Mexico.  She will be an amazing missionary.

I finally finished this puzzle on June 9, 2026.  It only took me two months.  haha!
I was surprised how hard this one was.

Demo days.  These two clean up pretty good!
Such a cute little family.  (June 11, 2026)

laughing at Grandpa eating bubbles
On June 12th, we got to spend some time with them.  We had lunch at Belly Buster, then Cole went riding with Brandon, so we said we would drive Kacie and Wade back to the house.  We got dinner at Chick-fil-A and did some shopping at Sheels. . haha took them tp nampa

Mr & Mrs. Sean Michael Smith...

On June 4th, we made the trip to Lindon, Utah for Sean and McKinley's wedding.  Somehow I managed to put in the wrong address to the hotel and it took us to a residence.  Brady will never let me forget that, haha!  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express.  Brady was glad it had a pool.

The sealing was so nice, and I'm so glad that Elder John McCune was able to seal them for time and all eternity.  I'm so happy for them

I'm so glad we were able to get this picture together.
I'm kind of sad we didn't get a chance to take one with Sean and Mckinley.

Such beautiful girls.
After the sealing, I had Scott drop me off at the venue so I could help Rosie prepare for the reception.  I arranged the centerpieces with Roxie and Janette, and then, after the yummy dinner, Laura and I cut up the different dessert bars.  Everything turned out so well.

Wade loves kids.  He is pictured with Shayla's two.

This was such a cute place.  I wish I had gotten before pictures.

I loved their playlist.  It felt like we were at a military ball back in the 40's.

I'm happy they had such a good turnout.  It was a special night!
