The kids and I rode out with Scott's parents to watch Scott's team play against Willowcreek. They won and Ryan did good. Afterwards we went to Dairy Queen and these three were having too much fun with the snapchat filters. haha!

Quick Visit...
We were able to see Diana and Jed real quick as they were passing through town on their way back from Rexburg seeing Stephanie. It's always fun to visit with them.

January Birthdays...
We had a great time celebrating Wanda's, Ryan's and Tyson's birthdays!
The kids are so cute and getting so big!
Some of us stayed later to watch some of the NFL football playoffs. We watched an incredible game with the Minnesota Vikings vs the New Orleans Saints. The Vikings nearly blew a 17-0 lead and had multiple heartbreaking moments near the end, but Stefon Diggs made the play of his life when he ran into the end-zone with 0 seconds left to win 29-24. It was crazy and so exciting! What made it more fun was the Vikings gave tickets to a 99 year old lady who has been a lifetime fan and she was there at the game.

Kacie's Road Trip...
On Friday the 5th Kacie went with Mallory back to school so she wouldn't have to drive by herself and also helped her move into her new dorm at BYU. They spent Friday and Saturday unpacking and hanging out then EJ and Mckinley picked up Kacie in Provo Saturday night. They did a little shopping and got some Indian food which Kacie said she actually liked and then Kacie stayed at their house until Wednesday the 10th when she hitched a ride back with Stacie and Connie after their year-end meetings.
Kacie said she really enjoyed her time with Rosie's family

President Thomas S. Monson Passes...
We woke up January 3rd to the news that President Monson had passed away the night before so I went and found a bunch of quotes that he was famous for so I thought it would be a nice way to remember him. He will be greatly missed.
I liked what Tami Peterson had to say about him.
Our next prophet called was Russell M. Nelson and his first counselor is Dallin H. Oaks and Henry B. Eyring.

New Year's Day...
On New Year's Day we went back over to Ron and Stacie's for dinner and watched the college football playoffs. The first game was so exciting and went into overtime (Georgia beat Oklahoma 54-48) but the 2nd game was kind of boring and we didn't want Alabama to win but they won 24-6 over Clemson. Mom and Dad traveled to Rosie's and they got a picture in front of the new Cedar City Temple.
