Kailani's Graduation...

On Friday the 29th Kailani had her graduation party.  It was decorated really cute and they served hamburgers and hotdogs with salads, chips and cookies.

They even had a soft-serve ice cream maker.  That was Jaynee's job!

Mom, Brady, and I went to the graduation after church on Sunday.
Kailani was one of the four Valedictorians.  The others were also from our Nyssa 1st ward... Kaleb Draper, Qyonee Mitchell and Lydia Woodruff.  Sara Stephens was the Salutatorian.  I thought hers and Kailani's talks were the best but they all did good.  It was kind of fun having it outside for a change and we could hear really well but I heard the people that didn't make it in the stands couldn't hear very well.  The choir and the band did really well also.

Kaylee and Brady were so cute when they both ran to each other to get a hug.

They had a parade again for the seniors.  Maybe this will be a new tradition started from Covid.

1A State Track...

Scott, Brady & I drove to La Grande to watch Ryan compete in his state track meet.  Unfortunately, when he was running the hurdles he pushed off too hard and broke his foot.  I can't believe he was able to finish the race and get 2nd place.  However, he wasn't able to do the pole vault.  I felt so bad for him...we were all excited to see him jump and he had a real good chance of breaking his record and winning.  His best jump for the year was 14'6".

Monday the 24th we took Ryan some candy, balloons, and a Dutch Bros gift card to help cheer him up.  He got his foot x-rayed Sunday and he learned that when the tendon tore away from the bone in his foot a piece of bone broke off too.  He has to wear a brace for four weeks.  While we were there Stacie feed us some yummy pizza.  I made some chocolate cookies for everyone too.  All the big boys had fun shooting Scott's airgun and then we got this amazing rainbow while we were there.  It was a fun night.

Brandon's Review and Brady's Temple Trip...

Scott and I went to Meridian for Brandon's annual review.  There were no changes and everything seems to be going good.  Brandon arrived when we were almost done and we could tell right away he wasn't in a good mood.  We took him to Dairy Queen to get a blizzard then we went to the park.  We were hoping once we got him on the park bench he would calm down but he didn't and it was too cold to stay so we took him back to his home.  We were both pretty depressed that we weren't able to stay with him longer.  I just don't understand why he does this from time to time.

Cute picture the home sent me...

Our attempts at getting a picture...
We went to eat at Jalapeno's after we dropped off Brandon.  These fish tacos were so good and Scott loved his fajitas.

Brady got invited to do baptisms at the Boise temple with all the Schulthies cousins.  He said it was fun!

Kaylin's Day...

After work, I grabbed some pizza, squirt, and balloons so we could celebrate Kaylin.
We sure miss and love her!

Mom also set off a couple of lanterns.  It was crazy how they all blew southwest.
Usually, it blows either east or Northwest.

Kacie's Golden Anniversary...

I posted this for Kacie's 11th-year kidney transplant anniversary.
Wow, it's been 11 years today on the 11th of May...Kacie's golden (kidney transplant) anniversary!  I can still remember it like it was yesterday.  When we got the call at 10pm we had to unhook Kacie from her dialysis machine and wake her to tell her she had a donor.  Kacie was scared to death and didn't want to go.  It wasn't until after Scott gave her a priesthood blessing that she was able to calm down.  We arrived in Portland at 5:00am and we know angels were watching over us as we drove in the dark with it pouring rain.  I still don't think I believed it was really happening when they took her back to surgery at 11am.  I think it finally sunk in when one of her many doctors told us that her new kidney was already producing urine before her surgery was even finished, which is really rare.  What a miracle...I still get teary when I think of the donor and family.  What an incredible gift of life and we are eternally grateful!  We love you Kacie and so proud of you and also of the way you have taken such good care of your kidney.  #donttakeyourorganstoheaven #kidneytransplant #donatelife
This was also wonderful news when Kacie told us she passed the written portion of her cosmetology test with an 80%.   She just has the 4-hour practical test to do on June 7th.  We are so proud of you Kacie!

Mother's Day...

For Mother's Day we helped grandma Joan put out bark to make it easier for her to maintain her yard.
The kids were good at helping us with the rocks.

Grandma fed us some sandwitches and chips for lunch.

Looks pretty good!  Surprisingly it only took us a couple of hours.

Sunday we had lunch with Scott's mom.  She made us a roast beef dinner.  It was nice, we haven't had a Mother's Day dinner with her for a long time.  Ron and Stacie's family joined us.  I gave both of my moms beautiful hanging baskets.  They really liked them.  Later in the evening we had dessert with mom and watched Don't Miss This for our Come Follow Me.  It was a great day!  Scott got me a membership to the Bluebird car wash in Ontario.  I can get unlimited car washes.
I made the yummy jello and pudding cake.
Teniele was so nice to give me a beautiful card and some lotion.
We missed seeing Cole and Kacie.  She posted this nice post for me on Instagram.
