Caroling....

We weren't able to all go Caroling this year because Scott had to take care of concessions out at Harper and I went with Kacie to her indoor track meet.  But Brady was able to go....

Temple with Sheree 12/12/12

 I was so happy for Sheree today being able to go to the temple for the first time.

I was so happy I was able to make it.  I went over with Weston and Lori because Dad ended up having Jury duty.  The session was so crowded I almost didn't make it in.  We went to Chuck A Rama after.  It was a special day! I love this family!

Christmas Programs and Gingerbread Houses

 Brady had his Christmas party at school and they decorated Gingerbread cookies.  I was lucky to have one of the moms take pictures for me since I had to work.

 Brady's Christmas concert was Dec. 13th.  He did so well singing all the words and doing all the actions.

 Brady has been begging to do a gingerbread house and we finally fit it in after I got off work and before Kacie's Christmas concert on Dec. 17th.

Kacie had to pretend she was helping for at least a couple of pictures.  

It is so interesting having a teenager. haha

Parades and Finger puppets

 I made seven sets of these nativity finger puppets for our primary class.  I hope they like them!

Brady got to march in the Nyssa Night Light Parade with the Cub Scouts waving a Flag December 8th.  I walked with him to help keep the boys on track.  He had a lot of fun.  He only complained of his legs being cold.  They were first so they got to watch the whole parade at the end of the route.    I was impressed by how many people put their right hand over their heart as we walked by with our flags.

I can't believe Brady is a Cub Scout now.

Kacie's Oral Surgery

Kacie had oral surgery to remove that little piece of skin between her two front teeth.  If it wasn't removed it would cause her front teeth to separate again once her braces are removed.  She is really close to having them removed, she is so excited for that.

The surgeon's office is so fancy, in fact it has it's own movie theater with four theater seats.  We watched How the Grinch stole Christmas while we were waiting.

Kacie was pretty sore for a day then she seemed OK.  She even managed to spend the night at Mallory's house that night so she could go to the temple with their ward.

Brady's Cookie Dough Prize Dec 5th

Brady was able to be in the hamster race from the cookie dough money that he raised.  I wasn't able to get off work so Lori was so nice and took pictures for me.  It looked like he had fun.  He has had a lot of fun with his hamster at home.

Disney on Ice!!!

We were so excited to go see Disney on Ice and boy it didn't disappoint us...it was wonderful! Stacie went with her kids and Mom and Dad came too.  Dad was a good sport and he actually said he enjoyed it.

 Mom and Dad treated the kids with the cool light up Disney on Ice glasses.  They loved them!

 It was so fun to see all the princesses come out at the end.  It was awesome! Brady was in trauma when it was over.  He kept saying, "Why is it over?" Golden Coral helped though...
