School Christmas Programs

Brady had his Christmas program on December 12th.  He did such a great job singing and doing all the actions.  After his program Mom took Grandma Joan, Kacie and I out to lunch at the Neighborhood.  It was a fun afternoon.  Later that night Scott had his company party at Fiesta.

Kacie had her concert December 16th.  I made soup and some snicker-doodles for a fundraiser that they had before the concert for their trip to Disneyland in March.  I was pretty surprised my cookies went for $20.  I made three dozen but I wrapped them into 6 packages so people could give them away if they wanted.  I guess it was a hit.

Mr Fletcher has done a great job with the choirs.
Here they did a song about fruitcake, but I couldn't see Kacie very well.   Luckily Mom moved and was able to get a few pictures.  Kacie's alto group juggled an orange while they sang.  The sopranos had fun with cinnamon and the boys were mixing in a bowl.  It was cute!

They sang and danced to 'Baby It's Cold Outside'  It was cute too!

I never realized how much Kacie looked like her grandma Talbot until I saw this picture.
So beautiful!
Grandma Joan is always so good to support the kids!

Sure love this girl!

Christmas Caroling

We went Christmas caroling with Vaughn and Barbara's family again this year.  It's fun to all be together on their bus.  Scott had a cold and not much of a voice so he didn't go with us and so I had a hard time convincing Kacie she needed to go with us.  But, I do believe she ended up having a good time.

Sure love these two couples!
Jeannetta is such a sweet lady
Brady loves doing this every year.  I noticed that his smile has changed since he got his braces. Ha
Sheree and Teniele

We pretty much fill the entire bus, crazy!
Love these two!

Our trustee bus driver...Stoney!
It was a fun night.
After we got done I ran the kids over to Stacie's house to spend the night.  Then Saturday Scott and I did a little Christmas shopping while the kids went with Stacie to watch Taylor's choir concert.

2013 Family Photos

We took these pictures the weekend that Brandon was home for Brady's birthday and General Conference.

Sure love my family!
Feeling so blessed!
I love that our family can be together forever!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

I made some red velvet cake pops for my visiting teachers and also for a fundraiser for Kacie's choir trip to Disneyland.  The kids were pretty upset they didn't get to eat all they wanted, but I promised them I would make more.

This month I have had a really hard time getting into the Christmas spirit.  I think all I was missing was our Christmas decorations.  Once I got them all up I was feeling much better.  I believe this has been the latest I have ever finished them.  It usually takes two days to put them up and a day to take it all down.  Crazy!

The reason for the season! I love nativities.  I bought the white set the first year we were married and I think Kacie is the one guilty of breaking some of the pieces, but I just can't get rid of it.

I love that we have a special Christmas bear for each of our kids!
Christmas trees! For years the kids have loved having their own tree in their bedrooms.  But I guess this year they thought they were too big for such things so now we all get to enjoy them.  Sometimes it is sad seeing your kids grow up.
As we were watching Christmas movies Scott went and put a break of cheese next to the TV.  Too funny!
Love this picture of my kids.  It was taken in 2004 when it was Brady's first Christmas.
This house in Ontario really knows how to get into the spirit.  I would love something like this if I could afford the electricity.  Lol!
Brady made this last year for us for Christmas at school!
I do believe this is the first year Brady hasn't been afraid to sit on Santa's lap.  I thought this picture was so cute.  I couldn't talk Kacie into joining him for another picture.  Scott didn't make it to the ward Christmas party with us because he was starting to lose his voice with the cold he has been fighting from the past week.

Look Who Got Braces Now!

In November they started preparing Brady for braces and today he finally got them.  They are just doing the top for this first phase and he should have them for about nine months.  They also put in a spacer in his back teeth so his teeth won't touch.

He chose BSU colors!  He was pretty proud of his new braces.  He has sure come a long way from needing to be sedated for dental work to now having Braces put on.  After we were done he went back to school for his spelling test that he got a 100% on.  Way to go Brady!
