Valentine's Day Weekend

Friday Night was the last basketball game and so it was Senior Night.  I have been impressed by the school spirit this year.  It has been fun to watch.

Seniors...Damien Olvera, Miguel Lazo and Jacob Huffman
After the game was the Sadie Hawkins Dance.
Kacie asked Damien to go with her.
I thought their picture turned out really cute!

Saturday we went to Stacie's so Brady could ride Taylor's horse.  This would be his first ride ever.  I was surprised he did so well and wasn't scared of the horse.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Super Bowl Fun

We had a fun Super Bowl party with Scott's family.  We had our usual deluxe nachos.

Sherman was literally chasing Brady around all night.
It was cute!

The New England Patriots ending up beating the Seattle Seahawks but it was a good game and its always fun to get together with family and hang out with good food.

Going For Gold!

Brady had a fun pack meeting tonight.
All the boys represented a different country and Olympic sport.
Brady was a Norway downhill skier.
I thought he looked pretty cute!

They were all suppose to talk about their country or sport but I didn't get that memo so Brady just gave the capital of Norway.

We only had one meltdown when I didn't send him in his scout shirt.  I just figured he wouldn't need it but boy did I learn better.

Mark E. Hartley's Funeral

Had a really nice funeral for Mark E. Hartley today.  He was a great man and contributed a lot to our little community.  I'll never forget how he was my bishop when I got married.
He will be greatly missed.

I sure love and admire these two so much!
The only plus to funerals if seeing family that you haven't seen in a long time.
Rosie came up with her kids for the weekend so it was fun to hang out with her and her kids.

I took Kacie, Mckinley and Teniele shopping after the funeral.  The girls got matching outfits again.  It was fun!

1st College Championship Game

Brady and I supporting our Oregon Ducks who played Ohio State University in the first ever College Championship Football game.  However the Ducks lost, they just didn't play that well, but it was pretty exciting for them to be in it.

Wanda's 70th birthday!

We had a great birthday party for Wanda's 70th.  I was happy her cake turned out so well.  I also made a slide show for her and I was surprised how emotional she got.  I was so glad she liked it!
On Thursday Stacie had to go to the hospital for her back and while Gerald and Wanda were at Ron and Stacie's house watching the kids, Kacie and I sneaked in their house and stole a bunch of pictures for the slideshow and I found this amazing picture when she was 18 that I scanned for her cake.
Such a beautiful lady both inside and out!

My beautiful girl!!!
I found these cute postcards at Disneyland while we were there and Alexz's dad made this cute frame for them.  I thought it turned out really cute!

Happy New Year 2015

This was the first year they had a college playoff and the #2 Oregon Ducks played #3 Florida State and won.  It was such an exciting game.  We couldn't believe how well they played and won very convincingly.  #1 Alabama played #4 Ohio State and Ohio State won too.  So exciting to see the underdog win.  This is why they should have had a playoff system all a long.
Duck fans!! Haha!

Little boys just couldn't make it to the top!

These girls are so cute! We are sure going to miss them when they leave tomorrow.
