Christmas Parties...

Brandon's home had their Christmas party.  They always spoil the kids...it's fun to watch!  This year mom embroidered the kids their name on bath towels and I gave them a $10 McDonald's gift certificate.

Brandon is so funny...he gets more excited about the bottle of Coke and Cheetos in his stocking than the presents.  There were a couple of the male workers there that told us how much they love Brandon and we visited with them for quite a while.  Austin played basketball for Montana State until he broke his foot and Martin is going to BSU.  I wish I would have got a picture of Brandon with them.
It is always so nice when he is so happy!
Brady decided to go with Mom and Dad to the Schulthies Christmas party at Rod and Launa's.  They didn't have a very good turnout because of all of the snow, but Brady still had fun!  I was frustrated we had to miss it because of Brandon's party, but mom got some great pictures!

One of my favorite parts about Christmas is hearing from lifelong friends and family.

Senior Project, Dances & Choir Concert...

Brady was pretty excited to come home with this on Thursday.

Friday Brady had his first Middle School dance. Infinity's Mom sent me this photo of them...so cute!  I guess Brady wanted to sit down and Infinity told him "No you don't, you're going to dance and have fun!"  She is such a good friend!
This is one happy girl who just passed her senior project.  The panel said she did really well, she knew her topic well and they could tell she was passionate about becoming a child life specialist.  We were both surprised that they had never heard of it before.   I had a lot of mixed emotions today...Brady had a lot of firsts and Kacie is already halfway through her senior year.  Is it possible to be happy and sad at the same time?  Later that night Brady had his Christmas Choir Concert.  I thought the 6th grade choir did really good and especially Brady, he sang every word.

Maryn and Lea stole the show...they sounded amazing together!

Jocelyn sounded great on her solo too!
All the Choirs together...

So grateful for everyone that came to support him, however, these are the only pictures we got with Brady.

After his concert we hung out here for a little while!
Saturday Brady had his first stake dance or cotillion.  He didn't have a lot to say about it except that he danced with Maryn, Mikayla, Kailani, Jaynee and some girls from Vale and Parma.  Ryan said he danced a ton.  I think these two looked so cute!  Wow how they have grown up!
Kacie went to the dance for a little bit with Taylor and then hung out with this guy again!

ACT Test, Games & More...

Our newest, fun and hilarious game...Watch Your Mouth!
Kacie and Xander
We had a big snow storm Friday the 9th so we had to cancel our traditional Schulthies caroling so then we just played games at moms for a little bit.  Over night it turned to freezing rain so when I had to take Kacie to Ontario to take her ACT test it took us 50 minutes to get to the college.  We were very blessed no one was coming at the bottom of our hill because I couldn't stop, it was a straight sheet of ice.  We were however so excited when she opened her email from BSU and found out she got accepted.  We just hope we can figure out the out-of-state tuition so she can go if not she might go a couple of years at TVCC and then transfer there.  I decided to stay in Ontario while she was taking her test because the roads were so bad.  I spent a couple of hours at Walmart doing some Christmas shopping and then went to the gym.  I bought Kacie a BSU snapback!(:  They also canceled the youth temple trip so Brady was pretty bummed he didn't get to go.  Scott was going to go with him since it was his first time.

Kacie got this fun advent calendar where you open a new character each day before Christmas...she is loving it!
Since we weren't able to go caroling Friday night and not sure when we can we all met at Nyssa Gardens Sunday to sing for them for a little bit.  It was fun to do something like that for them.

David Archuleta Christmas Concert...

Mom and Dad treated us to a concert for Christmas...It sounded so good!  Scott said it was probably one of the best sounding concerts he has been to and he has gone to a lot of concerts.  It was held at Centennial Performing Arts Center in Boise.  Nathan Pacheco opened up for David and he had a tenor voice which was amazing too.  Nathan sang several traditional Christmas songs and a few originals.  David joined him for a few duets too.  They sounded amazing together.

They shared the same band and they were amazing...
David also sang several traditional Christmas songs like "Pat-A-Pan", "The First Noel" (which gave me goosebumps) and "Hark The Harold Angels Sing" and so on.  When he sang "Mary Did You Know" he forgot the words and had to start over.  It was funny and he said he had never done that before.  He also shared how he came to write the words to his new singles "Numb" and "My Little Prayer".  He said he was saying his prayers and feel asleep and then he woke up and had this feeling he should get up and write the words to the prayer he had in his dreams.  He kept trying to talk himself out of it because it was in the middle of the night but then before he knew it he was at the piano writing down the words to his song.  It brought tears to my eyes...so touching!  At the end Nathan came back out and they sang a couple more songs. "The Prayer" was absolutely amazing and it made Mom cry!  Brady's favorite song was Glorious which he sang for the movie "Meet the Mormons".  Brady like the concert but was getting pretty tired by the end of it.  After I took Teniele, Brady, Kacie and Taylor with me to Dutch Bros to get some hot cocoa.  It was a fun evening!

Dinner and A Movie...

Scott and I had a lot of fun with these two going out to eat at Zupas and then a movie. Kacie and I finally convinced Scott how good the food is there and that is the only place he likes to eat now.  Haha!  We then went to see "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." It's a Harry Potter movie. We all liked it! It was a fun evening together.

Saturday Mom went with Kacie and I to do some shopping in Ontario then Kacie met up with some new friends of hers to see the Caldwell Christmas lights.  Above is Jesse Camacho from Parma.  Below is Mary Matkovich, Kobilyn Wheeler, Sydney Eggers and Taylor Keller all from Fruitland.

That's one lucky guy! haha!
