Rosie's Family Visits...

Thursday the 21st Rosie's family came home for the weekend.  Kacie met them in Burley and left her car at Wade's house and hoped in with them.  They got here little after midnight and we stayed up visiting with Kacie and Mckinley until around 3:00 am.  Friday the kids had fun riding the four wheelers and side by side.  That evening we had a little birthday dinner for Rosie and Mom invited Vaughn & Barbara and Becky and her new little addition.

It was fun to finally get to meet Becky's little miracle baby Zeineb.  She's so cute!

Mom said, "This looks like a cute picture!" and we thought she was going to take it of Teniele and Zeineb and she took it of me with Dad and Uncle Vaughn. haha! I love the pictures of Mom with her.

Saturady all the girls went to Boise to go shopping.
We made a quick stop to see Brandon.  It was nice he was in such a good mood.

After our shopping Rosie wanted to eat at Cafe Ole for old time sake.  It was a fun day except I'm feeling a little broke after going to Bohme.

When we got back we played games.  It's always so fun when everyone comes home.

Scott's 50th birthday...

Lindsay made this cute poster/card for Scott...she's become famous for her birthday cards.

He's parents gave him a cute card with $50.00.  My parents gave him a nice cooler.  I gave him some Beats earbuds and a instant pot.  Stacie and the kids gave him some M&M's and a $50 gift card to Under Armor.  Then the big surprise of the night is when his brother's brought out a gun.  Scott was a little shocked to say the least.

This is when Ron and Steve realized they gave them a $80 upgrade with the thumb hole in the gunstock and they didn't pay for it.

Kacie gave him a nice BSU jacket...and surprised him by coming home!  The night before his party Scott, Brady and I were planning to go out to eat at Red Robin and Cole and Kacie met us there to surprise him.  It was fun that Cole's parents and sister came too.  It was so fun to see Scott and Brady's face when they saw them.  At first he thought Cole had a double. haha!

Wanda snapped this of me putting on his candles.

David Marker (another teacher at Harper) wrote this hilarious poem for Scott plus gave him a headstone cake, men's diapers, muscle cream, urinary tablets plus decorated his room with all kinds of over the hill posters and quotes.  He really got him good!

Cole gave him this cool BSU shirt.
I'd say he got a little spoiled.  I guess it was worth turning 50...haha!

Kacie's Girl Days...

These three always have so much fun together.  They like to have sleepovers in their living room, go to Idaho Falls to get their nails done, shop and of course eat at Olive Garden.

Brady's Choir...

March 6th Brady competed in a choir solo competition.  I thought he sounded really good he just forgot some of the words.  I was amazed he was brave enough to try it.  I'm so proud of him.  He has a really good voice.  Hopefully he will try it again and he will let me know sooner than the night before so we can practice more.  haha! He sang The Coasts of Barbary.

I loved how the judge sat him down next to her and sang it with him and gave him a lot of encouraging words.  She said he has a great instrument and she was so glad he sang and shared it with her.  I'm still amazed he did it, I was never brave enough to do anything like that.

On Thursday the 7th Taylor and Brady had a choir concert.  Taylor even sang a solo with her choir and did an amazing job.  All the choirs sounded great.  Brady's choir sang Pie Jesu, Bound for Jubilee and I've Been Working on the Railroad.  Taylor's choir sang The Water is Wide, Juego a que me queno and City Called Heaven.  All the choirs sang The Blue Green Hills of Earth together.

Mom, Dad and Grandma Joan also came as well as Stacie, Lindsay and Tyson but we weren't able to get a picture with them.  After Scott, Brady and I went out to eat at KFC and then we took Brady to get a frost at Dutch Bros.

Brady's latest Adventure...

Brady went skiing with his 8th grade class on Wednesday, February 28th.  However, I'm not sure of how much skiing he actually tried.  The young men went skiing on Saturday, March 2nd and he was really nervous about going but I told him he had to give it another try.  So after we dropped him off at the church we went to the temple which was really nice.  We were surprised about some of the changes.  After we went out to eat and then spent some time at his parents house waiting for Brady to get back.

We were so happy to see this on his snapchat story.  He had a great time.  His leaders told us that the first time down he fell about 50 times and Caleb Draper and Porter Carlton were so good to stay with him all the way down.  They after that he got the hang of it and did really well.  I was so happy one of the leaders took a video of him or we wouldn't have realized how well he actually did.  Brady told me, "I guess I have a new thing now!"  We were all so happy!

How To Train A Dragon...

When I heard how cute this movie was Brady and I decided to watch the first two then we went with Mom, Teniele and her boys to see it after work.  We all really liked it.
