Cole & Kacie's New Home...

From the time Cole and Kacie purchased this home back in April to today when they were able to finally move in was a little longer than they had expected but we are all so happy for them.  Even after they got the keys and were in the process of moving there were issues.  The electrician didn't hook up the air conditioner correctly so they didn't have A/C for a few days.  There was sand in the water for a little while, the dishwasher wasn't hooked up and the water to the washer wasn't turned on, but once they got all the little problems resolved they were finally able to enjoy their beautiful new home.

They also had to re-stain the wood because the first attempt had a green hue to it.
Jolene and Carriesa came over to help Kacie decorate.  Jolene had her car loaded with stuff and they did an amazing job.  I love how simple and elegant it turned out...so beautiful!

The builders gave them this nice house warming gift.
We are so happy for them and can't wait to visit!

Sunsets, Flowers & NYS...

July 9th I went over to the butte with Scott to help him pick up some equipment.  While we were over there we saw this amazing sunset.  I sure love where I live...so beautiful!

When I got back home I took some more pictures of the sunset with my flowers.

Brady was pretty nervous about going to NYS but we got up early and I took him over to Parma.  He really struggled getting out of the car but he did it.  Later in the day Scott and I went to Costco and out to eat at JalapeƱos our new favorite place to eat.  While we were there I got a call from Maria Draper and she said Brady had a little melt down earlier and she made a deal with him that if he stuck it out he could leave before the dance but she was hoping he would want to stay.  We then went to Scott's parents house and hung out until we heard from Brady.  When we arrived to pick him up before the dance we could tell he was really happy.  I told him he could stay for the dance if he wanted to and he said, "but I made a deal with Maria."  I said it would be okay to stay he could break their deal she wouldn't mind.  He jumped right out of the car and ran back over with his group.  Scott and I had to smile we were so happy for him.  We then went back to Gerald & Wanda's house to watch the Thunder-egg fireworks.   Ron, Stacie and the kids came over too.  It was fun! We then went back to Parma to pick up Brady and we were so glad he had fun.  He told us he even bore his testimony in their group testimony meeting which was amazing in itself!

Mckinley's Special Day...

Tuesday July 6th Scott and Brady headed home and Kacie and I went to Utah to attend the temple with Mckinley as she goes through for the first time.  It was fun for Kacie and I to get some time to visit together just the two of us.  We met Mom in Tremonton and then mom rode with Kacie and I drove her car.  It was so wonderful to be in the temple again after not being able to do for so long due to Covid.  Mckinley looked so beautiful and we are so happy for her.  I sure love her!
Proud grandmas...

Cuties...

I think this is all the family that were there for her.  There were some other ward members and friends that came too.  After we went to eat at Zupas before heading to Heber City for the night.  We had to head home the next day.  It was a fast but enjoyable visit.  I'm so glad we were able to be there for Mckinley!

Rexburg, Teton Dam, Tetons...

Friday, July 2nd we headed out to spend the weekend with Cole and Kacie.  That night we went out to eat at the Outback Steakhouse.  It was fun!  Saturday Scott and Cole shot their airguns at a dairy around there then we did some shopping in Idaho Falls.  That night we fixed dinner then once it got dark we went to Cole's store and watched some fireworks.  It was fun because we could see them from three different locations around town.  Sunday we went to church, had lunch and took a drive out to see the location of the Teton Dam that broke back in the early 70's.  It was pretty amazing to see.

It broke on the other side of this mound of dirt but they cut into this side to see if they could learn anything from what happened.

Monday the 5th Scott and Cole did some more shooting, then we went to the National Teton Park.  We got there around 4:00 and took a fairy across Jenny Lake.  We went on a beautiful hike up to a waterfall and then higher up to a look out over Jenny Lake.  It was a lot of fun!  I could do that all day long...I love hiking!

Brady took us back to all the times when he was little and used to hike ahead of us then rest on his knees.

We got back to the gift shop just before it closed.  Kacie and Brady both got a T-shirt and Brady also wanted a book that talks about all the National Parks. It was pretty cool.  We then headed back to Victor, I think, and ate at a Mexican Restaurant which was good but really slow.  It was a fun day spending time together.
