Cole & Kacie Visit...

Sunday morning before they left Cole got out his toy to take Mom and Brady for a ride while Scott and I made breakfast burritos for everyone.  They had a lot of fun.  Mom made this cute table runner for Kacie.

My Birthday...

For my birthday I told Scott not to get me anything because I purchased a few clothes online and I got this cake stand pictured below.
My ministering sisters really spoiled me.  Norma Burbank gave me the treats from Pastry Perfection.  They were so yummy.  ReNae Bair gave me some pretty fall kitchen towels and a yummy fall candle.  Cole and Kacie got me some 'Hey Dude' shoes that are so comfy.  I love them!  Mom and Dad gave me some money and an electric toothbrush which I was excited about since mine broke a long time ago.  On Friday the 12th Gerald and Wanda took us out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse along with Steve and Kris's family.  Ron and Stacie were supposed to go too but when they found out it was going to be an hour later they opted out.

On Saturday the 13th I was scrolling through Facebook and found this leather chair for sale so I contacted the seller and it was still available so we took the pickup to Nampa and picked it up.  The used one I bought in February already fell apart so I was excited to find another one.  I hope this one holds up better.  Before that Mom and Dad took us to lunch at Bob's.  We had some yummy burgers.  Mom and Dad bought them another outdoor table and chairs and took them home which will be nice for them.

Kacie and Cole were in McCall for Carriesa and Todd Cranney's wedding and decided to come to spend the night with us Saturday night so they could head home sooner Sunday morning.  It was fun having them with us.  We ran to Ontario and picked up a few things at Home Depot and Winco then got some Kiwi Loco which was really yummy.  When we were unloading the table and chairs for mom and dad Kacie accidentally dropped one of the tiles and it broke.  (thus one of the reason's for going to Home Depot).  Cole got four white tiles for the corners.  So we spent some time visiting with Mom and Dad while we were trying to fix their table.
Tuesday the 16th I went to a birthday brunch with all of Mom's game and sewing buddies.  I had a vegetarian omelet.  It was really good.

Sunsets and Storms...

I absolutely love the beautiful area we live in.  Today Scott and I had fun watching a storm roll in.  We loved seeing the lightning and hearing the thunder.  Then we saw the sun glowing behind the clouds.  The pictures don't quite give it justice but it was a pretty amazing site.

Scott then had to go over by the butte to check his pivots and took some pictures of the amazing sunset over there.

I love how the sun is peeking through the clouds.

New Stove and Microwave...

After Brady's Awards Banquet we went to Home Depot to pick up our new microwave and double oven.  We were pretty happy we got them home safely.  Saturday we worked on the installation for half of the day.  I was super happy with how good they looked and that we didn't have any major problems.  Scott is a pretty handy guy to have around even though he gets kind of grumpy sometimes during projects. haha!

Brady's Awards Banquet...

After we dropped off Brandon we went to Costco and got a few things then took our groceries home before heading to the Ontario High School.  They had a nice barbeque meal for all the kids and their parents that were involved in the summer internship from Malheur ESD and Youth Rising.  The food was catered by the Rustic Pig and it was really good.

It was pretty cool that they honored all these kids.
It is always a plus when Kaylee is there.
Brady got the Don Johnson Character Award.
We are so proud of Brady and all of his hard work.

Brandon's Visit...

Thursday, August 4th Dad had an appointment in Boise so I asked if they could bring Brandon for the night.  It was so fun having him home with us but of course, he never slept all night.  I stayed up with him until midnight and then I never heard him again and so Scott got up with him.  That has to be a first.  I've never been able to sleep when he is awake.  We took him back around 2:00 the next day.  I love these pictures I was able to get with him.

Utah...

Sunday, July 31st Brady and I traveled with Mom to take Josh and James back to Utah.  Rusty and Teniele met us at Rosie's and she had a nice dinner for all of us.  We weren't able to make it to Teniele's baby shower because of Aunt Roma's funeral so I gave Teniele her gift at Rosie's.  I got her a 2-in-1 Tummy Time and Seated Support pillow plus a Minky baby blanket.  I was really glad she liked it.

Saturday Brady and I went with Rosie to drop off Braxton and Blake at FSY at BYU.  It took us a lot longer than we expected because they are two different dorms.  I was glad to hear that they had a good time because they were a little nervous espeically Blake since this was his first.

After we dropped them off we got some lunch at Cubby's then we did a little shopping.  I got Scott and I some garments and then we went to the mall and did some school shopping for Brady.  It was pretty fun getting to talk to Mckinley again.  This was two Mondays in a row for me.  After our shopping we got some dinner at Cafe Rio and then took Brady to get some Dutch Bros.  We had a little time to kill before the outdoor play so we walked on the Provo Temple grounds.  It was so beautiful!  O

We almost got wet when the sprinklers came on! haha!

We then met E.J., Mom, and Caleb to see the Sound of Music.  We were able to get really good seats and we all loved it until we got rained out.  I was pretty disappointed we didn't get to see the last half.  Since Brady has never seen the movie we told him we would go home and watch it with him.  It was pretty fun even though we got drentched.

We headed back home on Tuesday so Brady and I had work the next day otherwise we would have stayed so we could watch the whole play and got our money's worth.  It was a fast but fun trip.
