Brady is Ordained an Elder...

We were so happy Brady was able to be ordained an Elder today.
I was so glad Mom took this picture of him.

I was happy we took a few more together when we got home.

Brandon Visits...

I was so happy to be able to finally have a chance to pick up Brandon and have him stay for the night.  I love it when he is in a good mood and we can get a couple of selfies.

Friday morning I wanted to pull a few weeds before it got too hot so I had Brandon sit out by me and we jammed to some tunes while I worked in my yard.  It was fun to get some cute pictures with his grandma.

New Fence...

Conquer Peak Construction started our new vinyl fence on July 6th and surprisingly finished it on July 11th.  We were so happy with how it turned out.  Now we get to plant our grass and do some landscaping.

Brady's Wisdom Teeth...

Brady had his wisdom teeth removed on Monday, July 10th.
He was so sleepy after we had to wake him up and wheel him out to the car.
He was pretty chatting afterward and I didn't understand half of what he was saying.  The crazy part was that he pulled out some of his stitches because they were bothering him.  Luckily he didn't cause any problems.
I'm so relieved he didn't have any complications and recovered pretty quickly.

Thunderegg Days...

With my new job, I have really enjoyed working more with the community.  July 6th - 8th were the Nyssa Thunderegg Days.  I helped man the Nyssa Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture booth with Tawni, Stephanie, and Janet.  Carmen was selling caramel apples right next to us.

I helped sell T-shirts and ice.
I also enjoyed all the yummy food.  Here I'm having some candied pecans.

I took this home for Scott and Brady to enjoy.  It was so yummy.
Carmen, Stephanie and Janet
Carmen's cute granddaughters Natalia & Lilliana.  They are Victoria's daughters.  Her youngest is Andrea.
Aubrey is Kayla's daughter.
Friday Teniele's family stopped by for a little bit on their way home to Utah.
You can't see me but I was helping serve pie and ice cream one of the evening.  Every night they would have a band play and Friday night they showed a movie in the park.  It was the Mario Brothers movies.
Tara got this picture of some of the people that went out to Succor Creek to rock hound.  She said they got a whole trunk full of thundereggs.

Tad Baker took these pictures of the car show with his drone.  It was fun walking around a looking at all the classic cars.  I also watched a little of the 3 on 3 basketball tournament and the lawnmower races.  Saturday night they had fireworks.  It was a fun weekend.
We have a good group.  I'm so glad we all work together so well.

Schulthies/McCune Reunion...

July 3rd through the 5th was the Schulthies/McCune Reunion up at Camp Hi-Cliffs.  Our numbers were smaller since it was over the 4th and a lot of families already had plans.  We went up Monday night after work and then all day on the 4th.  Our family was in charge of the 4th of July breakfast.  We made breakfast burritos  It was kind of weird spending the 4th there and not doing fireworks, but it was so fun seeing everyone that came.
Juliene did a wonderful job again organizing everything.  She had a lot of fun games for the kids.  This was a pickle-eating contest.  We also watched the kids trying to pull off each other's socks on a soapy tarp.

Grandma never changes.

I love that Brady is a family guy and enjoys his cousins! :)
Weston & Lori's family
Wade and six of his kids
Rusty and Teniele's family.  Mom and Dad fixed up the motorhome for them to camp in.
Taryn & Dedre's family
We missed these two cuties!!
