Harry Potter MMD...

On September 21st we had our Harry Potter Murder Mystery Dinner.  I helped Tara with some of the decorating and we all helped out with the food.  Mom bought this cute blowup for the party.
Everything turned out really cute!

Everyone dressed up so cute!  Well maybe some weren't so cute depending on their character, haha!

Sheree Schulthies as Gilderoy Lockhart
Morgan (Cleaver) Wilson as Bellatrix Lestrange
Rebecca Hansen as Harry Potter
Donna Seuell as Dolores Umbridge
Jenny Simpson as Hermione Granger
Mom and Brady as Molly & Arthur Weasley
Me as Ron Weasley
Michelle Peterson as Luna Lovegood
Tara Rushton as Minerva McGonagall
Danna Bowns as Draco Malfoy
Karli (Peterson) Cleaver as Rita Skeeter
Wendy (Bair) Cleaver as Mundungus Fletcher
Maddie Clark as Severus Snape
Breana Froerer as Ginny Weasley
Professor McGonagall took us on a walk around the castle and to the dining hall.  It was cute I had this Bluetooth speaker that we played Harry Potter music with.

I made these caldron cakes.
I thought they turned out pretty cute and they tasted even better.
Our wizard letters and appetizers...
All the food was so yummy.  The story was a little difficult to follow and it ended up being Luna Lovegood's love potion that accidentally killed Neville Longbottom.  It was a fun party.

Brady & Jaynee's Mission Talks...

On September 17th Jaynee was giving her farewell talk and the Bishop asked if Brady would want to speak with her and do his mission talk.  It was a really nice meeting.  Both of them did a great job.  It was so cute when Elder Talbot winked at Lori then Paul and Merlyn when he talked about working with them in the temple.  He cleans with Lori on Mondays and does baptistry with Paul and Merlyn on Tuesdays.

After church, we had a nice meal at Weston and Lori's house.  It was fun to visit and hang out with family.
We are excited for Jaynee and look forward to hearing about her experiences in Honduras.

This & That...

On September 8th Elder Talbot went with Elder Walker to his first mission gathering with all the other service missionaries in the area.
On September 9th Cole went on another mountain biking race with his brother Brandon.  His family stayed with them for the weekend.

On September 11th we celebrated Tawni's birthday.  I made her a birthday cake, Stephanie decorated her office and Carmen had Brianna make her a nice plaque that says 'Difference Maker'... A dedicated person who can make a big impact even with just a small action or a few words.  Someone who improves the lives of others, one who rallies or encourages others to propel themselves forward and bring about change.  She loved it and even teared up.  Josh gave her the bouquet of flowers and had Tina make her favorite lunch.
I also got this cute picture of Brandon on Sept 11th.
After work on September 14th, I went to pick up Brandon for the night.

I also saw these pictures of Ryan at Weber State.

Brady started working at the Food Pantry on Thursday, September 14th.  I bring him to work with me at 8:00 then I walk with him to the Post Office then he walks the rest of the way to the pantry to serve there from 9:00 to 1:00.  On Friday, September 29th he started working at the Nyssa Library from 1:00 to 4:00p then on Wednesday October 11th he started working at the Adrian School District from 8:00 to 11:30.
Our new grass is slowing coming along.

Labor Day Weekend in Rexburg...

Friday, September 1st the three of us headed to Rexburg for the Labor Day Weekend.  After we arrived we went to Red 8 Asian Cuisine & Sushi Bar.  Their sushi was so yummy.  Brady had chicken and rice.
Saturday morning Kacie had an appointment for us to get some permanent jewelry.  She already had gotten two with Mckinley but decided she wanted one more bracelet and she got me three for my birthday which was so nice.  I love it!  You can totally tell which hand is mine and which is Kacie's.  It's crazy how time can age you.

For lunch we of course went to Millhollow then we went to Idaho Falls to do a little shopping at Al's Sporting Goods.  We got Brady a couple of nice shorts and a shirt.  I was able to find a cute red Nike sweatshirt and Scott found a bunch of knives on sale for graduation presents plus a few other things.  We then came back to their house for a nice dinner at the house.

We always have so much fun hanging out.  I made us a yummy peach cobbler to snack on.  Sunday we went to church, had lunch then went for a drive out to the sand dunes.

Monday we had to say our sad goodbyes.  This time we went home through Arco because there was so much construction on the freeway.  It was fun to see some new scenery and some of the Craters of the Moon.  We decided we need to go back sometime when we have more time to actually check it out.
