Scott's Bow Hunt!

Scott got his at 60 yards.  I was so happy for him.

Back to School Mutual Activity

We had a fun back to school activity for Mutual and did a scavenger hunt around town.  These four were in my car...Kacie, Jocelyn, Hoyler Deleon and Michael Duenas.  I had a lot of fun with them.
Here they are ordering a milk shake and small order of fries to share.
Had to go to the park and play on the equipment.
They also had to go take someone's leftovers at their house, pick a flower from someone's yard, get .25 cents worth of gas and so forth.  It was a lot of fun! Unfortunately our car didn't win but we think the one that did cheated. Haha!

1st Day of School

Can't believe the summer is over and school is here all ready.
Even more than that I can't believe how fast my kids are growing up.  Kacie has only three more years of High School and Brady will be in middle school before we know it.  I sure hope they have a great year.

Brady's new teacher is Mr. Bieker.  He is very soft spoken so I think it will be a good match.  Let's hope!

When Rosie was here during the summer we were able to go to the temple with Mom and Dad. It was so nice to be in the temple with them.
Caleb's birthday on August 9th...such a cutie!
August 12th...So Scott asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I said a new couch so we went over to Costco and brought one home.  On the way over we saw this amazing rainbow!  Mallory went over with us.

This room looks so much better.
On my birthday we went over to the Caldwell Night Rodeo.  It was fun!
August 16th...Mom and Teniele went out to lunch with Kacie, Jocelyn and I at the Texas Roadhouse and then I took the girls shopping for school clothes.  We shopped until about 7pm and we were hungry again so we went to Panda Express and Kacie got this fortune that says...Ask your Mom! haha!  We thought it was pretty funny.  We then went to see Fault in Our Stars, loved that movie.  It was a fun day!

Malheur County Fair

So these three showed bunnies at the fair for their FFA class.  I don't think Kacie was very thrilled about doing it but she did it and I think she enjoyed her week at the fair even though getting up early every morning to feed and clean her cage wasn't too fun.  And the lady in charge wasn't the nicest to work with.  She kept accusing them of not feeding their bunnies or taking care of them.

She didn't do too bad for only touching it a few times and I think barely holding it for the first time the night before when they practiced.

Mallory's bunny jumped off the table, it was pretty funny but I'm sure Mallory wasn't very happy about it.  Her bunny was named TJ for triple jump and Kacie was named LJ for long jump.  They ended up selling them after the fair.

So proud of this girlie for doing this even though she is not a huge fan of animals or at least touching them.
I finally caved in and let Brady ride a couple of rides at the fair.
He loved it!

The Girl's Makeovers and Birthdays!

So on Friday the 25th Teniele, Laura, Rosie and I took Kacie, Mckinley and Hanna to celebrate Hanna's 12th birthday with makeovers and getting her ears pierced.

Had our traditional lunch at Olive Garden...

We then went to the Velvet Touch for updos and mani's and pedi's

Laura and I even got some paraffin done.  That was a first for me.

After we got home we had a big family dinner and Scott grilled some salmon on the traeger.  It was so good!

I got all the kids that had birthday in July and August T-shirts and a box of candy.  I was surprised how much they all loved them.

I think he is a little too big for this now!
Such a pretty girl!
Think Dad likes coconut?  We all got him something with it in it...too funny!
