Goose Hunting...

Scott's Christmas was a new shotgun and cold gear so he could start goose hunting and boy have they had a lot of fun.  I must say we were all pleasantly surprised how good goose jerky is.  It's a good thing because they ended up with about 150 pounds to make it with.  Everyday they went they would get their limit.

In addition to shooting geese, Scott had a blast talking Casey's ear off about jets...

Talbot Christmas Party...

Monday the 26th we left around 4:00 to take Brandon home, we got there just in time for his dinner.  We sure enjoyed having him with us even though he didn't sleep one night.   I love it when he is so happy and content.  After we got him settled in we went to a couple of stores on our way home.  Costco was like a ghost town, I have never seen it like that ever.

Tuesday the 27th Boise played in the Cactus Bowl against Baylor so I was already for a great game but BSU never showed up, it was pretty bad.  We did however have a great Talbot Christmas party.  We  missed Kristin, Kevin & Alexz and Stephen's boys but they didn't want to be out on the bad roads.  All of Nanette's family is in Utah now.

After our party I took Kacie to Fruitland to spend the night with Mary.  They are cute!

2016 Talbot Christmas...

Brandon didn't sleep the first night home so I was relieved he did Christmas Eve.  I was surprised I had to wake Brady up this year, but we all finally got going except for Brandon around 7:30.  I let them see what Santa brought and then we got ready for church.  It was nice of Mom to stay home with Brandon.  Church is extra special on Christmas with the nativity done with narration and music.  I played the piano for the primary.  I get so frustrated when I get nervous and mess up, because I knew the song really well.  The drive to and from church was a little scary with all the snow drifts.  Scott decided to have some fun riding around the house spinning out!  The kids loved it!  We then opened our presents and got ready to eat at Mom and Dad's.  Scott did two prime rib roasts, one in the oven and one on the Traeger.  We made an attempt at Yorkshire Pudding.  It tasted good but it didn't rise like it should.  We didn't have the temperature right and Scott said we should have sifted the flour more.  We will have to try again sometime because I love that stuff!

Love these pictures of my cute kids, especially how Brandon is looking at Brady!

 Sure love my family!

Brady got a Tablet, Hollister sweater and coat, Under Armor sweatshirt, Adidas sweats, new tie, blog book (which was his favorite gift) and comforter set and missionary pillow case from Mom and Dad plus all his stocking stuff.  Teniele gave him the Atlas which he loves!  Lea gave him the flying fish which was really nice.  Kacie gave him a calendar of city skylines which he loved too! (I don't think it made it in the picture.)
Kacie got Harry Potter sweatshirt, sweats, socks and keychain, a gelish nail set, boots, Hollister coat, blog book, a Harry Potter coloring book from Teniele and Minnie Mouse pillow case and comforter set from Mom and Dad.  Brady gave her the white beanie and a belt.  Jocelyn gave her a flannel shirt.
I got the Under Armour jacket and boots.  Brandon got a bluetooth speaker with a SD card full of songs, large pack of Coke, and a sixpack of hotsauces.  The basketball hoop, BSU pillow case and coat came from Mom and Dad.  Plus we got two Bluray moves...Alice Through The Looking Glass and Finding Dory in 3D.
Brady wasn't very happy sitting at the kids table so we made room for him at the big table.

We had a nice day together eating and playing games.  I sure love these two!  No surprises here of what they get for Christmas! Haha!  The best present of all was how happy and content Brandon was.  He started singing Jingle Bell Rock and knew every word...it was the highlight of the day!
 My girl is too cute!
Got a picture of Brady's new bed now I need one of Kacie's

Christmas Eve...

After Howie's party I was so excited to give the kids their Christmas jammies!  I couldn't have planned it any better and they looked so cute in them and I was so happy they fit!  These were the best pictures I have gotten with Brandon in a long time on Christmas Eve!  We had a nice evening with Mom, Dad, Teniele and her boys.  I think this was the first time we had Christmas Eve at our house, but we thought it would be easier for Brandon since there was so much snow.  We had french toast, hot cocoa, sang songs around the piano and watched Santa together.  It was nice and relaxing plus I always love hearing my dad laugh along with Brady!

I love how the boys are looking at their sister...too cute!
They love her so much!
Absolutely love this picture of my kids!
I can't believe how much Brady has grown in the past year!

Howie's 12th Birthday...

We got invited to Howie's cool Harry Potter birthday party.  We loved it! So fun!  There were lots of fun food and drinks and we played Harry Potter Scene It.  We brought shepherd's pie.  They also made cool wands.
Brady's Draco Malfoy costume is getting a little small, but he still makes a good one!

Tara had her house decorated so cute!  This was in her bathroom, she also had a sign by her toilet that said, "Ministry of Magic this way!"
 The Slytherin boys... too cute!

Kacie was really cute with Xander.
Cute little wizards...

Brandon and Ashley sent this cool birthday candle from China!  When they first lite it, it was like fireworks.  This is how it ended up.  Happy Birthday Howie!!! Thanks for a fun party!

Christmas Parties...

Brandon's home had their Christmas party.  They always spoil the kids...it's fun to watch!  This year mom embroidered the kids their name on bath towels and I gave them a $10 McDonald's gift certificate.

Brandon is so funny...he gets more excited about the bottle of Coke and Cheetos in his stocking than the presents.  There were a couple of the male workers there that told us how much they love Brandon and we visited with them for quite a while.  Austin played basketball for Montana State until he broke his foot and Martin is going to BSU.  I wish I would have got a picture of Brandon with them.
It is always so nice when he is so happy!
Brady decided to go with Mom and Dad to the Schulthies Christmas party at Rod and Launa's.  They didn't have a very good turnout because of all of the snow, but Brady still had fun!  I was frustrated we had to miss it because of Brandon's party, but mom got some great pictures!

One of my favorite parts about Christmas is hearing from lifelong friends and family.
