Mom's Knee Surgery...

Mom had her other knee replaced on Monday June 4th.  I stayed with her the two nights she was in the hospital.  I was amazed how well she did, but her knee was still pretty numb while in the hospital.  The only problem was we didn't get much sleep.  Every time she was about to drift off her oxygen alarm would go off telling them her oxygen saturation was too low.  After the first night of no sleep they came in to do labs at 4:00 in the morning so I thought well I might as well get Kacie registered for school so I spent two hours figuring out her schedule but then BYUi's system was down at 6:00 when it opened up so then it took me another two plus hours till it was finally done.

Rosie came with all her kids except Kyle on Friday the 8th and stayed for a week to help out mom.  It was nice having them here to help.  A week after her surgery on Monday the 11th she felt up to playing games.  It was nice to see her upright and doing better.

It was so fun seeing these two having such a great time together.  They truly are great friends.

Rosie took all the kids to see the new Incredibles 2 movie Friday afternoon...They all loved it!

After work on Friday the 15th I went and got Brandon for the night.  He gave me a big hug when I got to his home and he kept wanting to hold my hand on the drive home and I loved hearing him sing especially to the Tarzan song I'll Be In Your Heart Always.  All the boys had fun dressing up like Ninjas.  They were cute!

We absolutely love it when Brandon is so happy when he comes home.

Scott's Broken Toe...

Scott was working on the Dam or Diker and dropped a big piece of iron on his left big toe and broke it. I can't imagine how painful that must have been. He went to the clinic at St. Luke's in Fruitland and they confirmed it was a clean break. He was lucky it wasn't on the joint it could have been worst and had to have surgery to fix it. They just said to stay off it for four to six weeks.  The crazy thing was the next day he was back in the tractor and had it propped up with a pillow.

His brothers took him out to dinner then did a little shopping...this is how Scott managed to tag along.

Memorial Day...

I love the glass vase but you can't see it very well in these pictures.

We were fortunate to receive one of the floral arrangements that Kacie is holding from Aunt Berniel's funeral.  They reminded me so much of her that I wanted to try and recreate it so I could always have a little memory of her in my home!  We sure love and miss you Berniel!

Kyle's Graduation and Reunion at Cabin...

On Thursday May 24th we left early and headed to Utah for Kyle's graduation.  Brady had to miss his last day of school.  We got to Rosie's around 3:00 and then got ready to go.  Kacie had a bad sore throat but she managed to still go too.  I thought the graduation was really nice even though I'm not used to having it at a rodeo grounds and having people buying concessions during it.

I thought these pictures were funny before we decided to turn out of the sun!

Friday we headed up to a cabin near Strawberry lake.  I guess one of E.J.'s sister in law's family owns it.  This is the bunk room upstairs that some of the kids slept in.

Love this little cutie...
These three have so much fun together and take the cutest pictures.  I couldn't decide which one so I posted them all...haha!

Just missing Brandon :( and Chad was asleep...

Senior and 5th grade graduates...
We had a lot of fun all together.  We played a lot of games, some fished and went on hikes but the highlight of the trip was everyone playing "Do You Love Your Neighbor?"  Mom made it interesting and had envelops with different amounts of money in them.  One had a $50 bill which Reid won.  It was a fun weekend together.  I'm sure Mom has a lot more pictures I can post later.
