Taylor's Temple Endowments...

It was pretty special to be in the temple with Taylor for her first time.  I was bummed Scott couldn't join us because of his cold.  There was just a small group of us...Taylor, Stacie, Gerald, Wanda, Josh Dorathy, and myself.  Ron brought the kids over later for pictures and lunch at Costa Vida.  It was a wonderful day.  Gerald and Wanda rode over with me and we made a Costo run before heading back home.

3rd & 33rd Anniversaries...

It's hard to believe these cuties celebrated their 3rd Anniversary.
They had a yummy dinner at the Teton House.

It's even harder to believe we are in our 33rd year of marriage.
I sure love this man.
We weren't able to celebrate our anniversary because Scott got a cold.
Hopefully, we can soon!
It was the first day of college football so I had to wear me new shirt. haha!

Dick and Camie Wagstaff's Funeral...

Two of my favorite people passed away within 16 hours of each other.  All the family was expecting Dick to go first because of his decision to stop dialysis but he wanted to wait to make sure his sweetheart was taken care of first.  I'm not sure if it really works that way but I like to think it does.  They held a double funeral on September 1st and unfortunately I had to work so I watched it online.  I took these pictures from the computer.  It was a beautiful service for two amazing humans, they will be greatly missed!

Dave and Connie stayed with mom and dad so they could attend.  Sandy Smith also came out to visit.  These three ladies have been great friends for a long time.

RICHARD & CAMILLA WAGSTAFF OBITUARY

Dick and Camie always said that they both wanted to leave this life together. On August 19th, 2022 their wish came true. Camie passed away early in the morning with Dick passing right after midnight on August 20th, just 16 short hours apart.
Richard Lloyd Wagstaff, known as Dick, was born in American Fork, Utah to John and Ruth Wagstaff. When Dick was 9 he moved to Parma Idaho. That is where his love of farming started. He graduated from Parma H.S. He then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in Kentucky and West Virginia. He loved the people there and often talked about it. Later in life, he was able to take Camie back there and visit with some of the people he met. Dick had two brothers, Larry and John. He also had four sisters, Beth, Linda, Elaine, and Susan, with him being the oldest. Right after his mission, his beloved mother passed away leaving the family with seven children, the youngest being only eight. It was during that time that he met the future love of his life Camilla Bruneel, also known as Camie. As we understand it, he nicknamed her Camie because he couldn't remember or pronounce Camilla right.
Camilla Juleen Bruneel was born on Memorial Day, May 30th, 1942 during a storm. She had no hair but big blue eyes. She was born to Rusty and Billie Bruneel in Boise, Idaho. Camie grew up in Eagle and Nampa and graduated from Nampa H.S. She then went to beauty school in Nampa and graduated. Her best friend was her brother Rich and she deeply loved her younger brothers Bill and Bud. She was introduced to Dick Wagstaff on a blind date. This is where their story began.
On Sept. 18th, 1961, Dick and Camie along with their best friends, Spud and Francie eloped to Winnemucca, Nevada, and got married. Exactly a year later both couples were sealed in the Logan Utah temple.
Dick and Camie started their married life in Parma, Id. Their first daughter Valene was born there with Julene soon following 13 months later. They moved to the Nyssa area where Rob was born. Dick and Camie spent many long years working hard hours for Wayne and Ruth Berrett Farms. Annie and Brent soon joined the family. In 1976 Dick was able to start farming on his own with the help of Camie and his five children. He loved farming and had a vision of what he wanted his posterity to become.
By 1999 four of his five children and their families were in the farming business. They got together and created WBH Farms. This was his dream. WBH Farms has continued to grow and expand. After retiring they moved to Ontario, Oregon.
Dick and Camie enjoyed the farm life. They loved to support their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They attended countless hours at ballgames, concerts, and family gatherings. If they had a grandchild or great-grandchild involved in something they were there. Camie loved her home and loved to keep it clean and always loved to cook. Her turtle chocolate candies at Christmas will be missed. She loved her lawn and took great pride in her flowers and her lawn with freshly cut grass.
In Dick's later years he loved driving out to the farm and to the shop. It brought him the greatest joy. He would go out and watch the tractors running with a wish that he could be in them. He was very proud of what his dream had turned into.
They both left a wonderful legacy. The family was everything to both of them. They taught their kids to work hard but also have fun and enjoy life.
They are proceeded in death by Dick's parents, John, Ruth, and Ileen Wagstaff, and his siblings John, Beth, and Larry. Camie's parents, Rusty and Billie Bruneel, and siblings Rich and Bud. Also granddaughter Ashley Hansen Jephson.
They are survived by:

Brady's Braces Come Off...

We were all pretty excited for Brady to get his braces off but no one was more excited than Brady.

He's so cute!
We had to celebrate with some Dutch Bros before I took him out to the school.
He has to wear a retainer for two weeks day and night and then after that it is just at night.
They gave him a cup of candy plus he earned a $25 Dutch Bros gift card too for never breaking any bands.

Michelle Peterson's Baby Shower...

We had a fun evening celebrating Michelle's upcoming baby girl.
Tara and Maddie organized the decorations and food.
I was there to help wherever needed.
Can you tell her favorite color is purple?
The food was super yummy.  Maddie made some cream cheese wontons and a crispy wonton chicken salad.  Tara made the fruit sugar cookies and grape lemonade punch plus the veggie cups in ranch.  She had a great turnout and got a lot of nice things for her new baby.

Mom, Jenny and Donna made this cute quilt.

Caroline taught us a new game called 'Bank' (I think?)  It was pretty fun!

Ryan Starts College at Weber State..

On August 26th Ron and Stacie took Ryan to college at Weber State in Ogden Utah.  It's hard to believe he is now a college student.  We sure hope he enjoys school and his track team and new roommates.
If I remember right Stacie said he has his own room but shares a kitchen with some other boys from the track team.
I can't wait to watch him at college!
Saturday they were able to go to Lagoon.
I'm glad they had one last fun activity together.
