Harper MS Football...

Scott had a great year with his middle school football team.  They went undefeated which was super cool!  I was only able to watch one game but it was fun.  Scott does such a great job with the kids.

It was fun to watch Tyson this year too!

Jose Vargas's Funeral...

Grandma Joan rode over with me to Jose Vargas's funeral.  Mom and Dad were getting sick so they weren't able to go.  The service was so nice.  Everyone did a wonderful job.  Jose was a great guy, I wish I had knewn him better.

I feel so bad for Cassie, she has gone through so much.

House Finished...

I can't believe how much better it looks and that I lived with it that way for over twenty years.

I even spray painted the rallying next to the steps.
They look so much better covering up all the rust.
Kind of fun having a black door for a change.  And I like my new exterior lights.

This side had some of the wrong colored paint on the seams too.

I thought this was pretty ingenuous of me.  It sure made it a lot easier to spray paint.  Unfortunately when Scott and I were putting the door knobs back on one of them broke so we ended up having to buy new ones after all.
On Oct 3rd I started on the carport.  You can see how much lighter our new paint is here.  It was pretty exhausting painting the ceiling.  It was starting to show some weather damage so I thought I better protect it.
This little tool made cutting the trim so much easier that I was able to finish the last of it by myself.  I finally was able to finish everything by October 18th.  I started caulking on September 9th and painting on the 10th.  I went through 13 cans of caulking but it sure looks a lot better.  I painted after work and every Saturday plus I had a few days off here and there to work on it.

Weber Track, Fargo & Corn Maze...

Ryan got some awesome pictures taken for the Weber track team.
We sure hope he has a great year and we can't wait to watch him compete.

Taylor finally was able to get her guide dog...Fargo!  I guess they had an immediate connection.  She spent two weeks at Guide Dogs for the Blind training with her new guide dog.  We are so happy for her.  He is pretty cute!
These kids had fun at the corn maze with the school.

Rusty & Teniele's Visit...

Rusty and Teniele and their kids came on October 7th and stayed until the 16th to help with the corn harvest.   That was so nice of them especially because it took the pressure off of me to help so I could finish painting my house.  It was so nice to hang out and snuggle their newest.

E.J. & Rosie Visit Taylor...

E.J. and Rosie were so nice to visit Taylor and take her to dinner while they were in San Diego on their fall break vacation.

John & Maya's Wedding...

On October 14th & 15th I worked on John and Maya's wedding cake.  On the 14th I baked and iced the cake then after our primary program practice I came home and decorated it.

Mom and Donna rode over with me.  I was a nervous wreck until we finally got it delivered.  I swear this is my last wedding cake...it's too nerve-wracking.

Their wedding was really nice and the dinner was delicious.
We are so happy for these two.

I'm so glad she liked it!
