Remodel...

Around the first part of February, I ordered all of our supplies for our bathroom remodel.  Plus I ordered new cabinet handles and hinges for all the cabinets throughout the house and new flooring for the kitchen, bathrooms, and utility room.  I'm so excited to finally get both of our bathrooms remodeled.  Danny Wake and Scott Keith started working on it around President's Day.
Before
5 ten-pack of cabinet drawer bar pulls for $70.80 and eight (5-pairs) of self-closing overlay cabinet hinges for $135.84.  Scott and I swapped out all the handles and hinges.  I can't believe how much better it made the cabinets look.  We also clean and wiped them down with orange glow.

I ordered tile for both the bathrooms and didn't end up using it in the hall bathroom so we put it in the kitchen.  I'm so happy to get rid of that green tile.  I still ended up with almost two boxes of extra tile so I took one back and kept the partial one.
This is the flooring we went with.  I originally got 10 boxes of luxury vinyl plank flooring for $872.50 then Danny talked me into doing the master bathroom and not the utility room.  Then Mom suggested we do the area behind the couch and the hallway so we ended up getting four more boxes I think.
Wanda was giving me a hard time for my old, worn-out scrub brush so I finally got a new one. haha!
Before

Delta 60 in x 32 in bathtub for $299.00.  Delta tub and shower faucet for $162.62 plus Delta 3-piece alcove tub surrounds in high gloss white.  Two toilet paper holders for $18.45 and two 2-packs of bathroom towel hooks.  Also a Westbrass tip-toe bathtub drain kit for $32.55.

I love how Brady's bathroom turned out.  I did all the painting.
2 Hampton Bay LED ceiling lights for each bathroom for $49.94.  Double handle faucet for $104.06 and Hampton Bay 29.25 in 4-light matte black bathroom vanity light with clear glass shades for $83.98 with 4-pack of LED light bulbs for $21.97.

I painted the inside of the door white and the mirror black.

Before

4 ft x 8 ft laminate sheets in re-cover Calcutta marble with premium textured gloss finish.  I ordered 3 sheets and then we ended up doing the kitchen too so we ordered two more for a total of  $705.15
2 Hampton Bay Woodbury 24.6 in 1-light matte black integrated LED bathroom vanity light bar with frosted acrylic shade.  It is pretty fun that they have three different shades of light you can change from for $159.94
Daltile restore 3 in x 6 in ceramic bright white subway tile plus mortar and grout.
We got five boxes for $75.00 and we took one back.
Two Kraus 22 in. oval porcelain ceramic drop-in top mount bathroom sinks in white with overflow drain for $69.95.  Plus 2 Kraus single hole single-handle bathroom faucets for $259.90.
Our master bathroom turned out really nice also.
I painted the front living room and hallway the natural linen and the bathrooms the accessible beige.

This was all the dirt that came from under our sectional.  I couldn't believe how bad it was.  I knew it would be bad because of how long it had been since we vacuumed under it, but I didn't think it was going to be this bad. haha!
On Scott's birthday, we bought this awesome transformer table.  It works perfectly in this spot.

Reid's Family Visit & Kailani's Mission Homecoming...

Reid and Laura's family decided to attend as many temples as they could over their spring break.  They traveled through Utah, Idaho, and then ended up visiting us in Oregon. :)  They stayed a couple of nights with Cole and Kacie while visiting Hannah and going through the Rexbury and Idaho Falls temples.  Cole said he really enjoyed getting to know their family more.

Kailani came home from her mission.  She gave a wonderful homecoming talk on March 17th.  After church, we went to their house for a fun get-together.  Then later we went to Scott's parent's house and they had a party for Scott's birthday.  It was a fun day spent with lots of family.
Love these cute missionaries...

It was so fun to get to spend some time together with Reid and Laura's cute family.
They went home after church.

Scott's Birthday...

Brady had a service gathering so Scott and I went to Jalapenos for his birthday.  Scott had his usual three meat fajitas and I tried something new which was chicken with a queso cheese sauce and grilled onions, peppers, and mushrooms.  It was so good it just might be my new favorite.

After we went to Costco and we ended up buying a transformer table from one of the vendors there.  It is super cool and can be a small card table all the way out to seating 12 to 13 people plus the bench can do the same thing. We got the table, bench, and two chairs for around $2,500.00.  We are super excited to use it in our new space in the family room behind the couch/sectional.

We celebrated Scott's birthday with his family on Sunday evening March 17th.

Jayden Rawlin's Funeral...

On March 3rd we got the devastating news that Jayden passed in his sleep.  He was almost 4 years old.
Brady found some pictures of him I had taken from one of our reunions up at Hi-Cliffs.

I found these family pictures from their Facebook page and I asked Brianna Berdowski to make the picture below so I could give it to them.  I thought it turned out so good.  I sure hope they like it.
On March 8th Scott, Brady and I rode with Gerald and Wanda to Utah for the funeral.  We went straight to Maddox's for dinner with Chet, Nanette, Adam, Kimberly, little Lucas, Ralph, Kathy, and Travis' family.  It was fun that Cole and Kacie were able to come too.  It was so fun to catch up with everyone.  It was pretty touching to see Nanette get so emotional when seeing her parents and Scott.  It has been such a long time since we have seen her.  We had a nice dinner and even visited a little longer after until we decided to head to our hotel in Tremonton.  We got to hang out with Cole and Kacie for a little while.  They gave Scott an early birthday present... an Iron Maiden t-shirt of course. haha!
The next morning we went to the graveside in Wellsville (400 N 200 E) where Jayden will be laid to rest by his Great Grandpa on his mother's side.  Jayden's Grandmother (Stefanie's Mom) gave me a hug and thought I was Nanette.  I just went along with it, but then after the graveside she talked to me again when she realized her mistake.  She was super friendly, it was nice visiting with her.  It was so sad seeing that tiny coffin.

They had baby's breath for everyone to place on the coffin.

They also had bubbles for everyone to send up to Jayden.  We then got some food at Costa Vida before heading to the funeral at 255 E Elberta Dr in North Ogden.  It was such a nice service but one of the more emotional and sad funerals I have been to in a long time.

I'm so glad we were able to get some family pictures after.

We then decided to head back home.  I'm really glad we were able to support Tony and Stefanie, my heart goes out to them.  No one should ever have to lose a child, but what a blessing to know we can see him again.
