Seattle...

Sunday the 2nd after church we headed on our trip to Seattle. Diana and Jed were so nice to let us stay with them so we didn't have to travel so far the next day. On our way we stopped at this look out point over the Blue Mountains. We couldn't get the kids out of the car to get a picture with them.

It was so nice to visit with Diana and her family.  They have a beautiful home in Kennewick WA.  That evening we had dinner with them and the missionaries then we just relaxed and visited.  The next day we had breakfast, the kids had fun trying out Neil's board then we headed out to Seattle.

We just had to get some Dutch Bros for the road! haha!

On our way Scott got some cherries at a fruit stand...he couldn't get over how big they were and how good they tasted!   We went to Jason's house and visited with him for a little while before we headed to a Seattle Mariner's baseball game.  He got us some amazing seats!  I was surprised how much Brady enjoyed it since he usually doesn't like going to games with us at home.

We have never been so close before at a professional game.  We were at row 10 and you could actually see the players faces, it was awesome!

We ran into my old basketball coach, Ken Ball.  It was nice to see him again.
We all loved the kettle corn!

After the game they had fireworks with great patriotic music...it was so fun!

Mom and Dad were excited to see us on TV!

That couple in front of me were a lot of fun.  When I showed them the pictures Mom sent us of being on TV she wanted me to text them to her.  They even wanted us to photo bomb their selfies...
On July 4th the four of us went downtown Seattle to see the Space Needle and we were excited they still do the Duck rides.  We had a great time together!  Brady was excited to see this water fountain.

We love being able to see Mt. Rainier, especially Scott.

The Duck Rides never disappoint.  Heidi Claire was a fun tour guide!

These were all the people waiting for the firework show to come that night.
I love this picture! So cute!
We had to wait for a boat to go under this bridge.

Got to have snow-cones...they are showing me their colors! haha!
These Seattle hot dogs were amazing...they had grilled cabbage, onions, red peppers and carrots with cream cheese and then I added some honey mustard...so yummy!

That night the four of us went to Jason's daughter Jessica's future in-law's house to watch fireworks. Her future grandparents live on Lake Tapps and when it got dark we got in their boat and watched them in the middle of the lake right next to the island they were setting them off from.  This was a first for me watching fireworks from a boat and I loved how you could see the reflection in the water...so pretty and amazing!

On July 5th we headed to Portland.  We wanted to visit Mt. Rainier but it was cloudy so we went to Mt. St. Helen's and visited there.  It was so pretty!  This was the first visitors center we stopped at.

This shows the different sizes in blasts from the volcanoes.  If I remember right Crater Lake had the biggest blast.

We stopped at all the different look outs to take pictures on our way to St. Helen's

The wildflowers were so pretty!
They built the center around this tree stump.

We watched two movies about this historical event back on May 18, 1980.  We were surprised that after the movie, they would open the curtains and let us see the mountain.  It was pretty awesome!

I love these pictures I was able to capture!

Sure love these people!

After we arrived in Portland we ate at Red Robin then checked into our hotel.  We then decided to watch Cars 3 at the 9:45 show and we had the whole theater to ourselves.  It was crazy and I had the worst time trying to stay awake!  The next day the 6th we got some breakfast then did some shopping at the Woodburn outlets then headed home, but we had to stop at Multnomah Falls on our way.  It was so crowded that we didn't stay there long.

We had a great trip and so happy we didn't have any major hiccups along the way.

We took a picture at the Space Needle and then they photo-shopped us with these backgrounds and emailed them to us...pretty cool!
