Wedding Preparations...

July 24th Kacie came home from Rexburg and I met her in Caldwell at 9:00pm so she could try on her wedding dress at Kandee's house.  Kandee is the lady that is hemming it for her.  She is also adding a loop and a button so she can bring up the train for the reception.  She is doing all the alterations for $40.00  We were both so relieved how well it fit her.  She is going to look so stunning on her wedding day.  I absolutely love her dress.

We found these shoes that look so good with her dress at Amazon for $34.99.

I designed these invitations and had them printed at Costco but then Kacie found a place called Utah Announcements that made the ones below.  We ordered 500 so each family could send out 250 each.  But then after we ordered Jolene needed 50 more so I was glad I had the ones from Costco to give her.  The 50 from Costco cost $36.57 and the 500 invitations, 75 sealing inserts and 85 luncheon inserts from Utah Announcements cost $360.00.  We were pleased how they turned out!  I also made a 12x12 lay flat photo book from Costco with all their engagement pictures to use as a guest book and it cost $42.39.  I was happy how it turned out too.

Birthday Boys...

Monday July 23rd we celebrated Josh and Dad's birthdays.  

Teniele's transformer cupcakes turned out cute!

We gave him a transformer that changes into a police car.

Dad is so funny...when we were singing happy birthday he was leading the music! haha!

We got both of our dads this nice silk tie for their birthdays.  

We are hope they like them and will wear them to Cole and Kacie's wedding...(:

BYS and Kacie's Roomies

We were so happy to hear that Ryan and Brady had such a good time at BYS.  Ryan even said that Brady was pretty popular with all the girls.   Brady made some good friends especially Ella Ogletree pictured below.  Brady said she even kissed him on the check when she hugged him goodbye! (: Such a sweet girl!

Brady loved his counselors Trip Pugmire and Courtney Lange. 

Sunday the 21st was Kacie last time attending church with her roommates.  They are such cute girls!  Next time she is back at college she will be a married woman...crazy! haha!

Visit with Brandon

I took Brady and Ryan to BSU to attend BYS.  They are going to be rooming together.  I sure hope they both have a good time.  After I went to Krispy Kremes to pay for the donuts for Cole and Kacie's reception.  They originally quoted me $317.74 for 25 dozen so when I went back I told them I thought they quoted me wrong and sure enough I was able to talk them down to $233.06.  I had a free dozen coupon for filling out a survey and they threw in another dozen for their mistake.  I then went to hang out with Brandon for a couple of hours.  In the pictures he looked like he was in a good mood and he was when I first got there, but that quickly changed and he even hit one of the girls that works there. ): I still enjoyed being with him.  I sure miss him!

Flowers, Sunsets & Thunder-egg Days

With all the rain this past spring my flowers never looked so pretty.  I had ones come back that I thought were totally dead.  Friday the 12th I helped at the quilt show held at the thunder-egg days then Saturday I helped stop traffic for the fun run race.  That evening Scott, Brady and I went to watch the fireworks.  Surprisingly it rained on us a little bit.  We were glad we stayed close to the pickup.

Seth Walker's Wedding

Brady and I went with Mom & Dad and Grandma Joan to Washington to Seth Walker's wedding reception.  It was held at his in-law's home.  It was really nice.  It was fun to visit with our Washington cousins.  We then went back to stay with Diana and Jed until Grandma Joan got back from Seattle attending the sealing.  It was a nice little get away!

4th of July

Kris had some passes to Roaring Springs so a bunch of us decided to go!  I took mom and dad's suburban and Teniele and her boys and Taylor, Lindsay and Tyson rode with Brady and I.  We met Kris and her boys there.  I spent most of my time on the lazy river and hanging out with the younger ones that didn't want to go down the big slides.

Got to wear my new swim suit for the first time...

We missed these two...they were up in McCall with Cole's family.

Later in the evening we had a barbecue at Mom and Dad's.  Scott and Steve were having fun with snapchat.  After we met Steve and Kris to watch the fireworks in Ontario.  We parked in our usual parking spot that we have been parking in for years.

Kacie got an app that ages your picture so she sent me these pictures.

Baby Barrett...

Farrell Linscott & Stephen Talbot had a baby boy on July 3, 2019 at 3:03 pm.  He weighed 6 lbs and 8 oz and was 19" long.  He is so dang cute! Oh, and his name is Barrett Thomas Talbot.  We are so happy for them.
