At 7:00 Kacie tried to get the new Star Wars ride but it was sold out within two minutes but she was able to get a Lightning Lane to Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway for $34.08. Basically whoever has the fastest internet gets that ride. As we were walking over to get on the Skyliner we couldn't believe how long the line was so we decided to take another Uber. We went back to the hotel lobby and once we were out on the street Kacie requested it and within a minute a car drove up and we were on our way. We didn't even have to wait long to get into the park which was so cool. The weather was so much nicer and everyone loved Hollywood Studios!! As we were walking to go on Tower of Terror we got a few pictures from a photographer.
This is now Brady's favorite new ride! So fun!
We then decided we needed a snack so we ordered some chicken strips and the 50th Anniversary peanut butter and jelly cookie to share between us at Rosie's Cafe. Kacie and I then walked around a few shops while we were waiting for the Beauty and the Beast live show to start.
We used our Lightning Lane to get in early and we were able to get on the third row which was awesome!
The show was great other than the social distance part. haha! After the show we walked over to see the Puppet's 3D Show which was really cute too! We then had a few minutes to spare before our reservation at the Sci-Fi restaurant.
This was so much fun! Our table was a little car and we were in a drive-in. We all got Oreo milkshakes except Kacie got some pop. We also had some yummy fried pickles. Brady and Kacie had burgers and fries, Scott had a pork burger and I had some yummy salmon and pasta. Since Kacie was sitting in the driver's seat the server kept giving her driving citations. It was so much fun!
We asked our server to take a picture of us and she took a selfie! haha!
We got done just in time to ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway which is now my new favorite ride. It was so colorful and interactive. I loved it! But I also love Mickey and Minnie!!
As we were walking over to Toy Story Land we couldn't believe it when we ran into a family from Nyssa...Colleen Forerer with her two daughters and their families, Robin and Jed Meyers and Sharla and Matt Richards. That was so crazy!
We decided to wait about 30 minutes in line for Alien Swirling Saucers. That was fun then we went for our next Lightning Lane of Toy Story Mania.
Brady was beating me until the very end when I passed him, but I think Scott and Kacie both scored more than us.(: As we were walking out we ran into the Froerer's again and they asked me to take a picture for them. We then walked back over to ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror again. The wait wasn't too bad and we had so much fun!
It was so fun seeing this all lite up!
We walked backed over to ride Slinky Dog Dash. We told Brady we would wait in line with him which I think was about 90 minutes but when we got over there it was closed. We waited awhile hoping it would open back up but it never did.
Brady was pretty disappointed he didn't get a chance to ride Slinky Dog Dash. As we were walking out we saw some fireworks go off and we couldn't figure out where they were coming from and then we found out that it was the Wonderful World of Animation. It was pretty cool and big surprise. It was a projection show of a lot of the cartoons on several of the buildings including the Chinese Theater. After that was over we walked to the SkyLiner and rode it back to our resort. We were happy the wait wasn't too bad. We walked about 16,970 steps which was 7.5 miles. Our reservation really helped keep our walking down and Scott really liked that. It was such a fun day. We never got to ride the new Star Wars ride but luckily we can in DisneyLand someday. (:
