Bransen's Wedding + Wheelers Visit...

Kacie, Cole, and little Wade went to McCall for Bransen's wedding.  They got some videos of Wade chewing on some steak and also Cole holding him up on the table, dancing to the Cupid Shuffle song.  It was so cute.  We were so happy they came by on their way home for a short visit.
We got a quick selfie after church.
I'm so lucky to have this man in my life.

Wade just recently learned how to wave.  He is so smart.

He also gets so excited on his stomach and goes on his elbows and starts kicking and waving his hands.  It is so dang cute.  We sure love this little guy so much!

President Nelson Passes...

Russell M. Nelson, beloved President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, passed away peacefully shortly after 10 p.m. at his home in Salt Lake City.  He was 101 - the oldest president in the history of the church.  He was called as an apostle on April 7, 1984.  He became the prophet on January 14, 2018.  He visited 32 countries during his ministry.  He announced 200 new temples.  Before full-time church service, President Nelson was a heart surgeon.  He performed the first open-heart surgery in Utah in 1955 and completed more than 7,000 operations throughout his career.  One of his most noteworthy operations came in 1972 when he was asked to perform high-risk surgery on Spencer W. Kimball, who was at the time a senior Apostle of the Church.  President Nelson was conversant in 11 languages and even learned enough Chinese to participate in an open-heart surgery operation in China.  Under his leadership, the prophet adjusted the way Saints around the world minister to each other.  He repeatedly stressed the importance of the correct name of the Church.  He shifted the emphasis of gospel instruction to be centered in each home.

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, near the conclusion of the April 2018 general conference, which the prophet inroduced several notable changes.  "President Nelson, I don't know how many more 'rushes' we can handle this weekend.  Some of us have weak hearts.  But as I think about it, you can take care of that too.  What a prophet!"  He is survived by his wife, Wendy, eight of his 10 children, 57 grandchildren, and more than 167 great-grandchildren.

Donald J. Trump, the president of the United States of America, tweeted this...

Russell M. Nelson, the President and Prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, passed away last night at the age of 101.  He just had his birthday earlier this week!  Russell was sharp and engaged in service up until the end.  Our hearts and prayers are with his incredible wife, Wendy, and his children and grandchildren.  Russell had a remarkable life, pioneering life-saving heart surgery techniques and, of course, his ministry of many decades.  He was a physician, literally and spiritually, and will be greatly missed!

Some of my favorite quotes from President Nelson...

Heading Home...

Today was our travel day home.  Wade did pretty well considering how plugged up he got during our trip.  We were able to change him before we got on the plane, but then he had a major blowout on the plane.  Kacie and I had to change him in those tiny bathrooms.  I had to lay him on the toilet to change him.  Kacie would hand me wipes, and we went through two diapers because he just kept pooping while I was changing him.  We had poop everywhere.  I got him cleaned up as good as I could them handed him to Kacie, and then I asked the lady if she had any Clorox wipes so I could clean up our mess.  That was an experience I will never forget. haha!

Because it was so late when we got back to Boise, Kacie decided to stay the night and drive home the next day.  It was fun getting to see them both a little longer.

Last Day At Disneyland...

Our little Jack-Jack was so cute!

I love that Brady loves all the history of Walt Disney.  He was checking out all of this while Kacie was getting Wade some Mickey ears.  After that, we waited in line to get pictures in front of the pumpkin Mickey.

So cute...he is such a happy baby!

I love our shirts...
We sure love Wade's scrunchie nose.

Today was my favorite.  I loved every day, but today just seemed a little more magical.  I loved going on all the dark rides with my kids and little Wade.  However, we sure missed Scott joining us.

So dang cute!

Woody was so cute with Wade, and Wade loved Woody.  It amazes me how they can communicate without talking.  Woody loved Wade's Jack-Jack t-shirt and would act out some of Jack-Jack's powers.

Wade was so cute with Mickey.
I'm so glad he liked seeing all the characters.

Grandma Sue treated us to a cute caramel apple, and she got Brady the cute cupcake.

Rosie surprisingly got us a table so we could get some dinner while we watched the nightlight parade.  I got a blister trying to cut the caramel apple so we could all share it.

Brady and I got to the ride Space Mountain again with our buddy pass.  We both tried doing Wade's scrunchie nose for the picture.  This was a fun memory with Brady.

What a fun day.  I'm so sad it's our last.  We are going to have to get in a make-up trip so Scott can go.
