Brooke & Brenden's Wedding...

I bought two sets of the silverware Brooke had on her amazon wedding registry and when they came they looked kind of wimpy so I bought some more stuff to put together a basket for them.  I hope they like it!  We checked Brady out of school Friday at lunch and headed to Brigham City.  Brady is so fun to travel with, he absolutely loves road trips.  We checked into the Crystal Inn and then went to Logan to attend a family dinner hosted by Brenden's father Gene.  He lives out East but he had rented a home in Logan and had a family dinner there.  It was really good and it was fun catching up with all of Nanette's kids.  After we drove by the Logan temple.  It was fun to see it at night.

Their sealing started at 1:00 and all morning it was pouring rain.  We were really weird about them being able to take pictures.  Even during the sealing we could hear the rain coming down which is really odd.  The Brigham City Temple was so pretty and it was so fun being with family.  Their sealing was really special.  They were lucky enough to have a short window with no rain to take some pictures then started pouring again...little tender mercy!

Cole and Kacie met us at the temple...it was so fun having them there with us.  After the temple the five of us went to eat lunch at Costa Vida with Gerald and Wanda then we went to the reception in Logan.

They are so cute!
Travis and Paxton...too cute!
Twins...Travis & Tony

Their reception was really cute and they even had a tent with cushions for the kids to play in.
We left the reception around 7:30 and then traveled back to Rexburg to stay with Cole and Kacie Saturday night.  It was fun to see their cute little townhouse.  It has three bedrooms and two and a half baths.  It is really nice.  It was fun to just relax and visit with them.  Sunday we had a big breakfast and then headed home around 4:00 pm.

Brady was feeling sorry for himself so Cole took him for a drive to his work just the two of them and they came up with this plan.  Cole has been really good for Brady.

Idaho Youth Barbershop Festival...

I got the privilege of being a chaperone for Brady's choir trip to Boise to sing with other schools in the Idaho Youth Barbershop Festival at BSU.   I was surprised how fun it was.  I got to listen to Brady sing with all the other boys which was way cool.  They spent all day practicing together their two songs Ring of Fire and Drive Me Crazy.  The girls sang This is Me and Royale.  They then practiced Bohemian Rhapsody all together.  That was such a hard song I was amazed how well the kids sounded.  I absolutely loved hearing all the boys singing together.  They brought in a couple of really cool conductors.  One was from California and he was the guy that made cappella music popular and all the Pitch Perfect movies were started by his story.  It was pretty cool listening to his stories to the kids.  The other conductor originally was from the Boise area and then moved to Tennessee.   He was really good with the kids too.
They had a photographer there taking all kinds of pictures.  I couldn't believe the ones he took of me...too funny!

Janeil Pluim & I
Feeling a little bit stocked...haha!

I thought these were cute of Brady standing with the choir.

I got to be good friends with a mom from Meridian High.  Her boy is the one with the black and red ball cap behind Brady.  Her name is Janeil Pluim and she had a daughter get married this summer too in the Meridian temple.  We had a lot of good chats.  They fed us lunch and dinner and then we were able to watch them all perform.  They had a famous barbershop quartet sing from Seattle called Momma's Boys.  They were amazing!  The Boise Chordsmen sang some really fun songs too.  We loved the one they sang last called, "There is no Z in Boise"  It was super cute!

Brady's group from Nyssa...I'm so glad he loves to sing!  He is even taking voice lessons from Allison Swenson-Mitchell once a week on Tuesdays and loving it.  He is going to join the TVCC choir on October 1st which should be fun too!

I was so proud of Brady doing this...
You can kind of see Brady on the right side with all the tenors...

Spirit Week & Thank You Cards...

Brady dressed up one day during spirit week prior to Homecoming.  He looked so cute!

Homecoming Court...Harlan was in the hospital so he couldn't be there with Lea so Cyrus stepped in for him.  Harlan currently is fighting a form of blood cancer which is fairly rare.  He has a long fight ahead of him.  I don't understand why their family has to go through so much!
I had fun creating a thank you postcard for these two to send out.  They have about 200+ to send.  We decided a postcard would be easier and have cheaper postage at .35 vs .55  However the minimum you could order through Costco was 500 cards for $75.99 so I'm not sure hope much we really saved.

Weekend is Here...

Friday the 6th Cole and Kacie came over to watch Ryan's football game.  The game was awful but it was fun being together.  After the game we went to Ron and Stacie's to visit and eat pizza.  It was a fun evening.  Always lots of laughs when we get together.

Saturday the 7th Cole and Kacie headed to back to Rexburg.  Cole had to be back to help with their inventory starting on Monday.  He is taking the semester off and just working, but Kacie will start back up on the 16th.  I'm sure they had a lot of fun unpacking and getting settled in their new townhouse.  I wish I could be there to help but I had to stay and work while Stacie takes Taylor to BYU-Idaho for her freshman year.  They were able to get a three bedroom two and a half bath with a garage.

Honeymoon & Opening Wedding Presents...

It was fun getting pictures from these two while they were on their honeymoon.

Cole got a bow prior to the wedding and he had fun shooting targets and maybe a few varmints while in McCall.  When they got back they got Kacie one so they will have something to do together while at college.  I told Scott he should get me one too!  I think it looks like lots of fun!

Sure love these two and so happy for them...Glad they had a nice relaxing honeymoon!
While they were gone everyday we would get more packages delivered from neighbors but mostly Amazon.  Our house was started to get overrun with packages.  They came home Thursday the 5th and so Scott, Brady and I went over to Cole's parent's house to watch them open all their wedding gifts.  It was fun to see all the wonderful love a support by so many friends and family.  They were definitely blessed!

30th Anniversary...

The day after the wedding I posted these two pictures for our 30th Anniversary along with the one of Cole and Kacie.  It's pretty cool that we will get to celebrate our future anniversaries together.  I wonder if these two will ever let us go on an anniversary trip together...haha!  It is awesome that my parents got married in 1969 and just celebrated their 50th.  We got married in 1989 and celebrated our 30th (well some day we will celebrate it) and these two lovelies got married in 2019.  The day before the wedding Scott started not feeling very well.  He survived the wedding okay but slowly lost his voice and then today he has been a little feverish and really not feeling good so we weren't able to do much celebrating.  Cole and Kacie went to McCall for their honeymoon and I was shocked when Kacie texted me and asked if we wanted to spend night up there with them at their cabin Sunday night.  Unfortunately Scott just wasn't feeling up to it.

Mom wanted to take some senior pictures of Hanna and Mckinley and Brady was able to get in on some of the pictures.  They are all so cute!

It was so fun having Reid and Rosie's family here for the weekend and for the wedding.
