Movie Night...

We had a fun night with Tara and Tommy's family and also Steve and Kris watching Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.  I was totally lost through half of the show but it was fun.

This was so hilarious when Brady started dancing like one of the scenes from the show.

Brady's Artwork...

I love it when Brady brings home artwork from school.
It was pretty cool that Harper had a little art show at the school and displayed all the kid's art.

Brandon's 28th Birthday...

After church Scott and I went to pick up Brandon for the night.  He was in a pretty good mood coming home so we were hopeful he would be good but it was a little bumpy at times when he would get worked up.  We did however mange to get a few good pictures for his birthday.  I can't believe he is 28.  We just invited his grandparents and had a raspberry trifle.  Brandon loved it!

While we were taking pictures Brandon was determined to start eating. haha!

We got him a 128g Ipod plus purchased 4 albums for it.  We also got him the ACDC tshirt and some candy.  Grandpa & Grandma Talbot got him some candy and $20.  Grandpa & Grandma Schulthies gave him the towel with his name on it plus $50.  We watched a few home videos from when he was little.

We put him to bed around 9:00 and he stayed in his room until 3:00am and then he was up again at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00ish.  I just let him stay up then.  I'm pretty sure he never slept all night because we could hear him talking when he was in his room.  I was able to take the day off and we watched movies until I took him back to his home around 2:00.  It was nice that he was more calm.  I made him a berry smoothie and he loved that.

This and That...

Kacie got me addicted to this crazy game.
This was my all time record on April 1st and no it wasn't an April fools joke! haha!
April 1st Scott and I went to watch Ryan's track meet in Emmett.  He did really good and got second in the 100 m hurdles and pole vault.  It was fun seeing him compete.  After we went to Hobby Lobby and picked up my puzzle that we had them frame for us.  It turned out good!

March 27th I started intermittent fasting and a more clean diet with no white sugar and flour.  When I weighed myself after our trip to the coast and was 150 pounds I knew I had to do something.   On April 2nd Scott grilled me some chicken breasts and I made some sweet potatoes and broccoli and I made these meals for the week.  They were really good and even Scott liked my sweet potatoes.  That night dad came over to the watch the final four and I gave him a dinner and he liked it too!
One of my new yummy salads.  Who knew eating healthy would taste so good!

This was pretty cool of Ryan making the Nyssa About Town paper!
Picture of Scott and I playing games at Mom's Friday April 8th with Teniele and Rusty.  We taught them Gnoming Around and Scott liked it!

Mom's Birthday...

I took the day off to spend with mom for her birthday.  We played a few games then that night we a dinner for her.  Scott grilled some chicken thighs and Teniele and Rusty made rolls and scalloped potatoes.  I also made her a healthy strawberry cheesecake with a walnut crust.  I thought it was good but Scott said it wasn't sweet enough.  At least mom liked it!  We sure love her!  Tara and Sheree came by with some gifts and stayed for a little while.  Later we played Gnoming Around.  It was fun!

Final Four...

Scott's Bracket...
Tammy's Bracket...
Scott's busted bracket
Tammy's busted bracket
We both had hopes of Arizona and Gonzaga being in the final four but that sure didn't happen.  We always have so much fun watching March Madness.

General Conference...

Just a few quotes from General Conference.  There were a lot of talks about missionary work.  Saturday and Sunday morning we listened at home.  Sunday we had dinner with Mom and Dad and Teniele's family and then all watched together.  It was a nice weekend.

Elder Holland's talks are always my favorite!(:
