July Birthdays...

On July 22nd we had a little party to celebrate Josh and Braxton's birthdays.
The kids had fun playing on the slip n slide.

Sunday July 24th we had a party for dad.

It's always fun we we all get together!

Mt. Emily...

Over spring break when we went to the coast Scott suggested that we should go to the top of Mt. Emily.  Brady has reminded us about that almost every day this summer and today we finally made it.  The ride was so beautiful and we were shocked that we actually made it to the top, especially because we weren't quite sure where we were going.   It was pretty cool to see this geological marker at the top.

The view was so amazing!

Scott wanted this picture of him pointing at Imbler so he could send it to Zac Cleaver.
Imbler was the little town he went to high school.

I couldn't believe how tall some of the trees were.
So that is where we went to the top of!
Scott and Brady had to get some Dutch for the road back.
We decided to drive to Anthony Lakes since Brady had never been there either.

It was really crowded because there was an archery tournament going on there so we got a couple of pictures of Brady by the lake and then headed home.  It was such a fun day trip.  I love our little adventures...there is so much more to explore!

Brownlee Reservoir...

Ron and Scott had a great day fishing at Brownlee.
I love it when Scott can have a fun day once in awhile...he works so hard!

Popsicles & Reorganizing...

Scott wanted me to take a picture to send to Kacie in honor of one of her favorites...Mexican popsicles!
On Amazon prime day I bought a bunch of food storage containers.  It felt so good to have these pulled-out drawers organized.  They're not perfect but definitely a lot better.

Trapping & Garage Cleanup...

After Scott shot the raccoon we thought our problem was over but mom still saw two other adults and one had two babies with her.  So on July 11th, he went into trapping.  The first time he tried a cherry Kool-Aid with marshmallows but that didn't work so then he tried bacon grease over cat food and that hasn't worked either.  We can't figure it out because everyone tells us how dumb raccoons are but they must not be very hungry to walk right past the trap and not try to eat their little treat.

On Sunday, July 17th he trapped a skunk.  Scott said it looked pretty sick after eating all that cherry Kool-aid and marshmallows.  Pretty funny how mom's trail camera caught Scott trying to get rid of it with the heister after church. haha!

On one of my days off from work, Mom helped me gut out our garage.  I want to tear it down really bad so I thought I would at least get it ready for whenever that happens.  Cleaning out the storage area was one of the most disgusting things I have ever done.  We even hauled off a dead cat... so gross!
