Jayden Rawlin's Funeral...

On March 3rd we got the devastating news that Jayden passed in his sleep.  He was almost 4 years old.
Brady found some pictures of him I had taken from one of our reunions up at Hi-Cliffs.

I found these family pictures from their Facebook page and I asked Brianna Berdowski to make the picture below so I could give it to them.  I thought it turned out so good.  I sure hope they like it.
On March 8th Scott, Brady and I rode with Gerald and Wanda to Utah for the funeral.  We went straight to Maddox's for dinner with Chet, Nanette, Adam, Kimberly, little Lucas, Ralph, Kathy, and Travis' family.  It was fun that Cole and Kacie were able to come too.  It was so fun to catch up with everyone.  It was pretty touching to see Nanette get so emotional when seeing her parents and Scott.  It has been such a long time since we have seen her.  We had a nice dinner and even visited a little longer after until we decided to head to our hotel in Tremonton.  We got to hang out with Cole and Kacie for a little while.  They gave Scott an early birthday present... an Iron Maiden t-shirt of course. haha!
The next morning we went to the graveside in Wellsville (400 N 200 E) where Jayden will be laid to rest by his Great Grandpa on his mother's side.  Jayden's Grandmother (Stefanie's Mom) gave me a hug and thought I was Nanette.  I just went along with it, but then after the graveside she talked to me again when she realized her mistake.  She was super friendly, it was nice visiting with her.  It was so sad seeing that tiny coffin.

They had baby's breath for everyone to place on the coffin.

They also had bubbles for everyone to send up to Jayden.  We then got some food at Costa Vida before heading to the funeral at 255 E Elberta Dr in North Ogden.  It was such a nice service but one of the more emotional and sad funerals I have been to in a long time.

I'm so glad we were able to get some family pictures after.

We then decided to head back home.  I'm really glad we were able to support Tony and Stefanie, my heart goes out to them.  No one should ever have to lose a child, but what a blessing to know we can see him again.

Mom's Eye Surgery...

On March 3rd Brady helped give his Grandma a blessing before her eye surgery the next day.
He did a good job anointing the oil.
We were all relieved that everything went well even though Mom's recovery was a little more difficult than we thought it would be.

This and That...

On February 5th, Kacie sent me this adorable picture of them out riding their RAZR.
On February 10th, Scott and I decided to drive to Jordan Valley to watch the Harper girls and boys play basketball. The girls lost but the boys killed them so they were pretty excited to put up their little sign that said, Search Found...Harper Hornets.  It was pretty funny.
On February 11th we went to Ron and Stacie's for Superbowl LVIII.
We had a small group, but it was fun.  The Chiefs beat the 49ers 25 to 22.

I love all these fun stats after a game.
On February 23rd, Scott couldn't believe it when he saw he was under 210 pounds which was his original goal.  Now we will see if he keeps losing weight.
On February 24th I thought the moon looked so cool I tried to take a picture, but it doesn't always do it justice.
On February 25th we went to Gerald and Wanda's for a little bit after church.  Scott looked so sad when he saw his favorite snack and couldn't have any...hahaha!
It was fun that we were able to get a picture together.

President's Day Weekend...

On Thursday, February 15th Brady went to Utah with Mom and Dad.  They went to meet with an accountant that Rosie suggested for them.  On Friday Scott and I made a last-minute decision to spend the weekend with Cole and Kacie.  I had to get my haircut and then I also didn't know if we should leave with them starting the remodel on our house.  We didn't leave Ontario until around 6:00pm and then there was a bad crash on the freeway. We almost decided to turn around but kept going.  We arrived at their house around 1:00 in the morning.
It was so fun to hang out with these two.  We went shopping ate some yummy sushi and watched some movies.  The only downer was Scott getting a sore throat.  Looks like Brady had a great time in Utah too.  He went swimming at the rec center and got to hang out with lots of family.

It was a great weekend for all.  I was kind of nervous about what was going on at my house so I was so relieved when I got home to see my new luxury vinyl floors.  They looked so beautiful.
