State Hershey Track Meet in Eugene

Kacie went with Taylor to the State Hershey Track meet in Eugene Oregon. The day before they went to the Oregon Coast. Taylor got to hold the Ontario sign.
Kacie in the 100 meter. She didn't get a ribbon but I was so glad she did it. Because she turns 13 on Dec 29th (the cut off is 12/31) she had to run with the 13 and 14 year olds. A slight disadvantage don't you think. Kacie in the standing long jump. I think she jumped 6'3" Taylor did really well. She got 1st in the standing long jump and 4th in their 4x100 relay. She didn't get a ribbon in the 200 meter.

Father's Day June 19th

I hope all the dad's in my life had a great day! I sure love you all!

Mom and Kacie were in Las Vegas with Reid's family so I fixed dinner for Scott and Dad. We had roast beef, red potatoes, gravy, salad, corn and some yummy coconut cream pie from the Starlight in Vale. Valeda and Melissa came and brought a fruit salad and Teniele added some rolls.
It felt weird not having Mom and Kacie around. We gave Scott some tools that he has been wanting. I think he was pretty surprised. We gave Dad the Andy Griffth show on DVD, but I think he would have been happy just to have the coconut cream pie. Later we went in to visit Scott's Dad, we gave him a fancy waterhose attachment that can reach high places. It was a relaxing day, except for stressing over dinner, but it wasn't too bad because we didn't go to church due to Brandon's sore mouth from getting his wisdom teeth pulled.

Shoshone Falls

On our way home from Utah yesterday, we stopped at Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls. It was so beautiful!

On our trail back to the car we came across a bull snake. Jocie just about stepped on it and when I yelled at her to look out, she started screaming and didn't even know why. It was so funny. We said it was pretty fitting that we saw a snake at the snake river.

Jocie was so good to Brady on the way home. Kacie went with Mom on down to Las Vegas to see Reid's family for a few days.

Cherry Hill June 14th

We had a great day at Cherry Hill in Kaysville Utah. We played a game of miniature golf first then we had some lunch and got ready to swim.We all loved the lazy river. It was settled right down in the middle of an old western town. It was super cute. They would play old timer music and about every hour all the buckets would spring a leak and spray you with water as you pass by. They even played 'Give Said the Little Stream' with an old western twang. Grandma Sue came by with treats just in time. We were all needing a little snack. Thanks Grandma Sue:) The river run was lots of fun also. Brady even went down several times on his own.It took us a long time to convince Brady to go down the dragon slide. I finally told him he had to go down it one time and if he still didn't like it he didn't have to do it anymore...Well it only took one and then we couldn't get him to leave. For a long time he went down it all by himself while Grandma Sue watched at the bottom. The rest of the kids wanted to go back to the lazy river. After we got down swimming, I went with Brady and Mckinley to play another game of miniature golf while the others hit the batting cages. That was a lot of fun too!

When we first arrived at Cherry Hill we didn't think it looked like much but to our surprise we had a very fun filled day!
