Kacie Helps Make A Wish Foundation
We just got word Tuesday Jan 10, 2012, on how Kacie's artwork did for a fundraiser for the Oregon Make-A-Wish Foundation. Back in September they asked if Kacie would draw a picture from her Make A Wish trip. Well they liked it so much that hers was selected to be framed and sold at an auction. Her artwork made $300. We were pretty excited! Way to go Kacie!Saturday, December 31, 2011
Double V Reunion
Friday we went down to the church and had lunch and worked on our service project. Valeda, Juliene and I were in charge of lunch and we had sloppy joes. Our service project was providing hygiene kits and a gift for all the kids that live in five of the different group homes where Brandon lives. It was a really neat experience for everyone. There were about 33 kids and so we divided them so each family had either 2 or 3 kids to give to.

Saturday all that wanted to go shooting did then we went to the church to play volleyball and have dinner later in the evening. Weston, Stoney & Reid's families were in charge and they served yummy tacos. After dinner we had a little spiritual meeting and then Scott shot off some great fireworks to bring in the New Year. Sunday we all went to church and then had another dinner at Mom's. We then sat around and looked at pictures from past reunions. Then we cleaned up some and then played more games. Some then went home and a lot stayed late into the evening. It was so good to see everyone
Monkey Dooz...More Birthday Fun!

Kacie lost her ipod nano a little over a month ago and we told her she had to pay half to get another one, but because I felt bad about her getting two of the same gifts for her birthday we went ahead and suprised her with a new iPod touch for her real birthday. I couldn't let her think she was opening an iPod so I hide it in a white hand towel. The look on her face was priceless! Too Funny!!! She was so excited it was worth it!
