New Plymouth Track Meet

Kacie did awesome today. She did the triple jump for the 1st time and only practiced it the day before.  She jumped 26.4 feet and got 3rd place. She PR'd in the long jump with 14.6 feet and got 1st place.  I was so excited when he called out her jump that I started squealing and embarrassed Kacie.  I couldn't believe that she jumped 14 inches farther from her last meet.  She PR'd in the 400m with a time of 1.11 and got 4th place.  Her 4x400 relay team of Ruby Pascacio, Kacie, Mallory Jensen & Delia Deleon got 1st place with a time of 4:57.  I think Kacie even looked stronger in it but I don't have her split time.  We didn't leave New Plymouth until almost 8pm but we still had to celebrate by going to Kiwi Loco!!!  It was so fun watching Kacie!

Brady's 1st Speech in School

Brady gave his 1st speech in school today.  He did it on his favorite places to visit.  He had pictures to display plus had a small photo book of Disney World pictures and then had two pictures of places on his wish list.  His teacher said he did a good job.

When we got home Brady got this postcard in the mail.  It was from his Special Ed Teacher Mrs. Moats.  So sweet of her to do this.  We just love her!

Fun with Rosie's Family (4/2-4/7)

Rosie's family came for their spring break on Tuesday April 2nd.  When they arrived we were having a little get together with Vaughn and Barbara's family.  We had fun visiting and playing games.
Juliene's boys were fun to play with.

Enjoying the farm life.
Having fun with Grandma's new toy!

I took Thursday the 4th off and Rosie and I did some yard work for mom for her birthday!  On Saturday we went and got some decorative rock and put out.  It looks really nice and it was so fun working with Rosie.  We haven't done that in a while.

Wahooz!!!
For Mom's birthday I checked the kids out early from school so we could go play at Wahooz.  The kids had a blast and we were able to get a pretty good deal because we had over 10 people.  We could play unlimited everything for three hours then in the arcade with their $5 game card for only 15.99, Mom's treat.  We couldn't believe she paid for everyone when we should be treating her for her birthday!

Happy Birthday Mom! We love you! Thanks for all the fun!
We even squeezed in a little bowling.
Brady and I did another round of miniature golf.  He loves it!

Arcade fun...Brady was so happy when he was able to finally get some skittles out of this game.

After Wahooz we went out to eat at JB's and then I  picked up Brandon for General Conference weekend and to hang out with all the family.  He was a little more talkative which was nice; however, he didn't sleep too good Friday night.

Rosie was so nice to take Brandon home on their way back to Utah after lunch on Sunday.  She got some really cute pictures with him.  They are always so good to Brandon.  We had a really good time with everyone.  I sure wish they lived closer!
