Halloween...

Halloween is really different at our house now.  Brady went out to Harper's Halloween carnival with Stacie and had fun.  I helped at our community's Halloween carnival held at the school on the front lawn.  I was chasing golf balls all over as kids tried to putt them into these pumpkins we carved out.  We had a short and longer putt.  Then we would hand out candy.  The kids had fun but I was sure ready to be done before it was over.  Brandon was the only one to dress up.  He looked cute, scary but cute! Cole and Kacie were going to go to a corn maze but decided not to because it was so cold.

Randy and Alice's Wedding...

Friday the 25th Mom, Grandma Joan, Brady and I headed to Tremonton Utah to meet up with Rosie and her family and Kacie.  We stayed at the Hampton Inn there prior to going to Randy and Alice's Wedding.  Friday night all the girls went into Logan and did some shopping at Roolee and then we ate dinner at Angie's, a local restaurant that we all loved.  E.J. took all the boys swimming at a hot-springs near Tremonton.  Brady said it was a lot of fun.  Saturday we slept in a little, ate breakfast and then went to the wedding.  It was held at a girl's camp near Juliene's house in Logan.  It was really cute but boy it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere.  The weather would have been perfect if it
wasn't so windy.

 Dinner at Angie's...

Such a cute couple...
Alice's mom and their baby girl...so cute!

After the luncheon we went to Rexburg to spend some more time with Kacie and Cole.  Mom treated everyone to dinner including Toni Frahm at the Hickory.  It was really good!

After dinner Kacie wasn't feel well so we just went back to the hotel.  We stayed at the Marriott and were pleasantly surprised with how nice it was.  Sunday we went to church with Kacie and Cole and then headed home.  It was a short but nice trip, especially when you get to visit with so much family.
Kacie sent this to me on our way home...I thought it was so cute...her first cake!

Brandon's Visit...

Early in the week I got this idea that we should bring Brandon home Saturday night and then we could take him to church with us and try to at least make it through the sacrament and hopefully the whole meeting if he does well.  So Saturday came and Brady and I picked him up after we went to a movie.  Brandon seemed like he was in a good mood so I was hopeful.  However, I made the mistake of not having him go to the bathroom before we left and he peed his pants before we got to Parma.  As the night went on Brandon seemed to continue to get more and more worked up.  So of course he never slept at all during the night.  I kept helping him get back into bed about every 40 minutes and then finally around 3 am Scott got up and watched two music videos with him until the sun came up.  We have dealt with this before but when Brandon gets violent, hits, cusses, growls and talks nonstop about random people and things it is really hard to deal with.  He even shattered one of my thick Mickey glasses by slamming it onto the counter top.  Around 8:30 I realized that we weren't going to make it to church.  So much for my so called inspiration to attempt taking Brandon to church.  It was then I realized with tears running down my face that there are some things that are worst than death, losing a limb, your hearing or sight.  And that is when someone you love so much loses their mind and you can't connect with them anymore.  I feel so guilty when we don't see Brandon as often as we should and then when we do we can't get through or feel that connection anymore.  I almost wish that Heavenly Father would take him home so he can be free from this state he is in.  I'm not sure how we will be able to bring him home overnight again.  Scott and I left around 11:00 am to take Brandon back to Tomorrow's Hope.  I don't think Brandon ever calmed down the whole hour drive there.  The worst part was when I was trying to say goodbye he hit me again hard across the face.  I don't think Scott and I said two words all the way back home.  And I might have cried most of the way home.  We were both so heartbroken.  I don't know why this time was so much harder unless it was due to still being very tender about losing Trevor.  I felt I had a righteous desire to take Brandon to church and that didn't happen either which is hard to understand.

Lunch & Movie Date with Brady...

I had to take our 2016 Honda Accord into the shop to get looked out.  It needs to have the driver side daytime running lights replaced.  Brady went with me and then we had lunch at Freddy's Frozen Custard.  After our yummy lunch we went to watch the new Maleficent: Mistress of Evil movie.  We both really liked it.  It was fun just the two of us!  After we went and picked up Brandon to take home for the night.

What a cutie...I sure love this boy!

Scott's Last Football Game of the Season...

Scott had his last football game today for the season.  He ended up having a better season than he thought and has some impressive 5th graders that he is looking forward to coaching in the next few years.  One of the parents and his son gave Scott this keychain and a new whiteboard to use when he coaches.  He was very touched by this gift.  That was so nice of them.  Another mother of a player asked Scott what he did to bring her son out of his shell.  Scott said he just has fun with them.  I always knew he was a great teacher and coach it's just nice when other people recognize it too! Fall Choir Concert...

Sixth graders sounded good.  Kaylee isn't in the select choir but is taking voice instead.  Brady has really missed her in the choir.  Her solo was great she sang Santa Lucia!

The select choir sang The Lake Isle of Innisfree, Wide Open Spaces and Nda Wana.

We all loved it when all the choirs surrounded the audience and sang Soualle together...it sounded awesome!

So Proud of this boy and so grateful for all the support from his grandparents.
