Scott and I couldn't decide what to do for Kacie for a car while she's at college. We thought about sending her with our blue car but Scott was worried about how dependable it would be and he didn't want to lose his commuter car so we went car shopping on Sept 8th. We ended up leasing a Toyota Camry for $300 a month for three years from Edmark Toyota in Nampa. They were really nice to work with and we were able to get 15k miles a year. We liked the idea of all the safety features it has and this way she could have a way back and forth to school and an easier way to pick up her medicine without having to worry about finding transportation.
When we walked in the door and handed her the keys she was pretty shocked. She never asked for a new car but we felt better about this decision. She was pretty excited! We reminded her that as long as we are making the payments it's still our car. haha! About an hour later Cole came out to the house to meet us for the first time. Scott and I both liked him a lot and they are so cute together. After we visited for a couple of hours we got gathered a bunch of blankets and pillows for them to use at the Drive-In. They had a lot of fun and I really appreciate how he always makes sure that Kacie is home by midnight whether he is driving or not.
Sunday the 9th Kacie went to his house for a while and they took this picture together on his Polaroid camera so she would have it when she goes to college. As she was leaving they both said they loved each other for the first time. She was pretty happy to say the least. He won't be able to go to BYU-I until January so they are going to give the long distant relationship a try.
We were so proud of Kevin! He signed September 11th into the Air Force Guard.
Such a cute dad and son!
These two played miniature golf at Wahooz on Sept 11th.
They are so stinkin cute together.
