We then checked into our hotel and went to see Kacie. I made her apartment peanut butter bars, chocolate covered pretzels, red velvet cake pops and swig sugar cookies. I thought it would be fun for them to have some Christmas goodies. We also brought our little blue Christmas tree with balls for them. The girls were cute decorating the tree and so excited to have one for their apartment. We visited with them for a while and then Kacie went with us for a ride around campus. As we were driving back by her apartment I noticed that the lights were out at Cafe Rio and I said that's strange that they are closed already and then we realized that the power was out. It was really weird to be driving around town with no power. That was a first for all of us. We decided to go to Idaho Falls and get something to eat. We had to take our time because the power wasn't coming on. When we got back to our hotel and were unlocking our door the power finally came on which was around 10:30. So it was out about three hours.
Saturday we walked around BYU-Idaho. Scott was pretty impressed with the I-Center where they are pictured at. Brady found a cool sweatshirt at the bookstore. We then went back to her apartment and waited for her roommates and Scott to come with us to Idaho Falls. We ate at Cafe Rio and then went to watch Creed 2. It was fun! We then went back to her apartment to help her with some homework.
They live on a cute street.
Northpoint is where Cole will be living next semester just across the street from Kacie.
Homework...
Concentrating the same....haha!
Adding a little Christmas cheer.
Sunday we stopped by to see Kacie for a little bit before we headed home. Four of them had a sleepover in their living room binge watching Vampire Diaries. She said they went to sleep around 3:00 a.m. but had a lot of fun. However they were slow getting up but they made it to church. ha!
