July 31st Scott Brady and I left around 3:00 pm to head to E.J. & Rosie's house for the weekend. We had lots of construction that slowed us down. As we were getting ready to go through the canyon past Salt Lake City Cole and Kacie passed us so we all got there about the same time. We visited for a bit and some of us even went on their electric scooters. They were a lot of fun!
Saturday Scott and I rode with Cole and Kacie to Provo to the Utah Airguns store. Scott found a used synthetic 22 caliber FX airgun for $975.00 plus a Athlon scope for $399.99. Cole and I talked him into getting it hydro dipped in the multicam since they are shipping the gun anyway after they go through it and check it out good. He also got a bunch of pellets and I talked the salesman into throwing in a hat. They also gave him a T-shirt at a discounted price. Scott, Cole and I had fun shooting their airguns in their shooting range. I was even hitting small targets at 35 yards. It was a lot of fun! Scott has been one of the airguns forever so I'm happy he was finally able to get one even though he was bummed he has to wait about 2-4 weeks. Brady went with all the boys to a trampoline place and had lots of fun too. Reid's family met them too and they had pizza after. We went to Park City next. We got lunch at Cafe Zuppas then did some shopping at the Outlets. We didn't get to shop at every store we wanted because of the long lines getting in. Because of Covid-19 some stores would only allow so many in at a time. Under Armour however didn't care so we spent a lot of time there. Rosie came up and met us so Kacie and I shopped with her for a while. When we got back to Rosie's house it was fun to see Reid and his family. We had a good dinner and enjoyed being together.
Sunday we had a nice sacrament meeting and Sunday dinner together. Laura made a yummy fruit pizza for Hanna's birthday. We had so much fun laughing and being together. We were sad when Reid had to leave to go back home to work the next day. Late in the evening we enjoyed visiting outside on their couch swing.
Hanging out with my buddy...
This was so cute how Hanna made this of Brady looking like Popeye!
Brady had fun with these two helping Kyle swipe right on his dating site.
Monday Scott and I made waffles and bacon for everyone for breakfast then we packed up. We then all headed to Lagoon for the day. It was so fun having Laura and their kids since it was their first time. Other than having to wear masks we loved it because the lines were so short. We basically walked on every ride...it was awesome! We finally convinced Blake to go on Cannibal with us. He said he would go if he could sit next to me. I told him to close his eyes if he got too scared and I think they were closed for the entire ride, lol! At the end of the ride it was pretty cute how everyone was cheering for him that he did it.
This was Chad's favorite ride and we rode it twice because there was no line. Actually we rode all of our favorites twice! haha!
Rattle Snake Rapids is always fun with Scott because he always gets so wet! Everyone was laughing at my hair because it only got wet on one side so it was straight on the right and wavy on the left.
Mom treated us all to some Dole Whip.
Between that and Rattle Snake Rapids we were finally cooled off for a little while. haha!
This was our last group picture of the day...We left around 5:00 because we had to travel home and I have to be honest I don't think I could handle any more rides. I don't know if it was the heat or not having much of a break in between rides. Rosie and Laura stayed until it closed at 8:00. We had dinner at Red Robin with Cole and Kacie before we said our goodbyes. We got home around midnight. It was a great trip...so fun being together. We just missed Mom & Dad plus Teniele & the boys. They stayed to take care of the farm so Scott could go for a change.
Cuties...so happy the three of them were able to spend some time together.
Hanna just finished getting her CNA and starting hair school in St. George.
Mckinley will be attending Utah Valley University in the fall.
I sure love them all!
