On May 5th I set up my new growing system the AeroGarden. I'm so excited to start growing my own herbs and greens.

The AeroGarden came with six herbs and I also bought some pods and seeds to grow some greens.

I planted the basil, thyme, and mint pods that came with the kit. Then I planted some arugula, romaine, and buttercrunch lettuce with the seeds and additional pods I purchased. This picture was taken after one week of growth. The picture below is after two weeks. I'm a little surprised how much better the lettuce is growing than the herbs. The system tells me when I need to add more nutrients and water and the light is on a timer for 16 hours a day.
