We got a wonderful email from Taylor on December 12th. She said her alarm goes off at 6am every morning and her service dog Fargo is there every time waiting for her. They start their day by listening to a hymn, saying a prayer, and doing daily scripture study before heading to the track.
Pretty cool that she was able to meet Brad Wilcox who visited their regional YSA ward.
I love reading and learning from her emails.
Harper had a fun Christmas Spirit Week at school. Monday was flannel fever.
Tuesday was dress like Santa and Wednesday was ugly sweater day. Brady didn't have a sweater but he wore his T-shirt that looks like a sweater that says, "Merry Christmas you filthy animal!" Thursday was Polar Express pajama day and the only day I got a picture of him. He was pretty happy he won the best-dressed senior for the week and got an extra large candy bar. He did look pretty cute every day.
Tuesday I was able to stay home and I did a bunch of baking. I made sugar cookie bars, pretzel crack (like soda cracker toffee), gingersnaps, and chocolate-covered Ritz with peanut butter between the two crackers. Thursday the three of us delivered goodie plates to all our ministering families and a few friends. Zac & Karli, Bishop & Lori, Jeff, Jason, The Walkers, Logan & Cassie Skeen, Browns, Bunns, and Nick & Kim Hartley.
