Nyssa & Vale Track Meets

Kacie had a rough meet at Nyssa on April 4th.  She only jumped 12'11" and she ran 15.47 in the 100m.  It was too bad she had to run the 100 almost two times and the first time she got out really good and was like in 2nd place but they had to stop it half way because of trouble with the timer and then she fell apart the second time.  Her 4x100 team got 4th with a time of 56.33 and her 4x400 team got 6th with a time of 5:00.32 which was ten seconds faster which was good.

She had a really good meet in Vale.  She ran 14.57 in the 100m and got 9th place and she got 4th in the long jump at 13'11.25" but her 4x100 relay team DQ but it wasn't their fault.  The official started the race before the 3rd and 4th runners were at their marks and they put then in different lanes without their marks. Oh well!

It's fun that Genniel is one of Kacie's coaches especially with her cute baby bump!
