Girls Camp!!!

Girls Camp was a lot of fun.  We only had eight girls from our ward and our ward chose New Zealand for our country since the theme was Come Unto Christ and missionary work.   The first night it started raining around 11pm and it didn't quit until around 2:00pm the next day.  So it was really hard to get the girls out of their tents. Haha!
Jocelyn, McKenzie, Kacie and Mallory

We had kitchen cleanup the second day after lunch.  They didn't mind too much since it was still raining.  I remember shaking while trying to eat my hamburger.  The stake cooks were awesome.  They had a different theme for each dinner and would dress up accordingly.  They dressed as Mexicans, hillbillies, Italians and so forth. It was so fun!
I found these two like this a lot!

Jocelyn, Hailey, Chema, Regan and Kacie
Leaders had to get a selfie! Haha!
Tiffany Farmer was with the Stake, Me and Natasha Bun our ward camp director.
Doing a First Aid drill.

Practicing the skit.

Our ward did a modern day version of Alma the Younger set in a New Zealand school with rugby players.  At the end they did the Haka dance.   I thought it turned out pretty cute!  It was cool we were able to find these New Zealand Rugby T-shirt for them.  I was the coach! Haha!

Thursday the older girls were able to go repelling.

Jocelyn
Kacie with Brian Thornley
She wasn't a huge fan but at least she did it!

Charlie Hansen and Regan Hartley
Even I was able to go and I loved it!  I think I enjoyed it more than the first time I did it almost 30 years ago!

After we went repelling I took these two crazies to see the lake and they stripped down & got in.

The alter hike is always a highlight for me.
Our ward sang "As I Have Loved You" in the New Zealand language.
After Kacie stayed up there with the Nyssa 2nd ward while they did some more stuff together.
Later around 10pm I did the music for a dance.  It went until around 11:30 and the girls had a blast!
Last day getting their camp awards.  Kacie got the sleeping beauty award since that is were you could always find her.  Haha!  I think they all had a good time, at least I hope they did.

Fun Concert!!!

Scott and I had a blast taking these two to see...

American Authors!!!
We only knew the last song that they sang called 'The Best Day of Our Life' but they were a lot of fun and sounded great!

The Script!!!
Good Ol' Days, Before The Worst, Breakeven, We Cry, The Man Who Can't Be Moved, Nothing, For the First Time & Hall of Fame
These guys did something really fun.  They had a girl call her ex-boyfriend and then Danny O'Donoghue, the lead singer sang a break up song called Nothing to him.  He would hold up the phone to the camera so we could see that he was still listening and then at the end of the song he had the whole audience yell, "Goodbye 'A' hole!'  It was great fun!

and One Republic!!!
Don't Look Down, Light It Up, Secrets, All the Right Moves, What You Wanted, Stop and Stare, Something I Need, Spanish Guitar Medley, Apologize, Counting Stars, Preacher, Come Home, Can't Stop, Good Life, I Lived, Encore:  Feel Again, Life in Color & If I Lose Myself
Ryan Tedder can sing like no other! He was awesome and so talented!
We thought all three bands were great and soooo much fun!

Their new T-shirts!
I thought this was so funny of Jocelyn storing her phone on her leg...
We have so much fun with this girl! So glad Kacie has her for a friend!

Hard Weekend with Brandon

Friday the 6th we went to Boise to do a little shopping and then we picked up Brandon for the weekend. He seemed like he was in a pretty good mood when we picked him up and we took him to Sonic and got him some ice cream.  But then he had an accident in the car on the way home and didn't sleep at all all-night and had two more accidents during the night.  So we ended up taking him back home early on Saturday.  I feel so bad that he seems to be getting worst and harder to take care of and then I feel so guilty when we take him back home.  I miss the old Brandon sooooo much. I just wish I could talk to him...

Jocelyn spent the day Sunday with us and then spent the night.  All five of us went out to Harper while Scott did some work on his masters.  He has to get it done by his next birthday so he has been pretty stressed out with that.  He is doing it on-line from Western Governors University.  After he finished we were all hungry so we went to Little Caesars and got two $5.00 pizzas and then some smoothies at Dutch Bros except the girls got their favorite Repel drinks.  It was fun to all be together.
