Brady Earned Another Cake!

Brady was able to pass off all thirteen Articles of Faith again for the year. This time he picked a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.

During relief society all the women were combined with the young women.  The priesthood even took care of Primary.  We had some wonderful food and they gave a really nice lesson on loving yourself, others and God.  It was so nice.  After church we had a wonderful meal at Mom and Dad's with Scott's parents.  Scott smoked a pork shoulder and it turned out really good.  It was a nice Mother's day.

Baker Track Meet

Mom traveled with me to Baker to see Kacie's track meet.  I'm so glad she came and was so prepared with umbrellas and a little shade tent.  We got dumped on, I couldn't believe all the rain and hail and that they were able to finish the meet.  It was pretty comical seeing us all running for cover.

How many girls does it take to put on Kacie's spikes?

Kacie got put in for the 300m hurdles and she was so nervous she didn't want to do them.  Some how Jocelyn convinced Kacie to do it.  She warmed up with Heath and Nathan below.

I thought she looked good going over the hurdles other than stutter stepping the first one.  But then she fell going over the hurdle on the last corner.  I felt so bad for her.  Hopefully she'll keep working at them.

After the track meet she went with Jocelyn's family to Washington to visit Megan.  She got home late Saturday night.  She said she had a lot of fun which I was really glad since she was so upset about falling.

Young Women's Activity

So I put together this little activity for the girls to make for their moms for Mother's Day.  They just had to bring a cleaned out tuna can and then they put wooden clothes pins around it and then I had a flower for them to put in it.  Some of them added ribbon and colored their pins.  I thought they turned out cute.  Hopefully their Mother's liked them.  I know I did, haha!  We have such cute girls!

Our New Car...

So after Kacie's track meet in Ontario, Scott and I went over to Tom Scott and ended up bringing home a new car.  It's a 2014 Honda Accord Sport.  I love it and our payment didn't change we just added two more years.  Gotta love debt. not!

Grandma's First Birthday in Heaven!

This was all Brady's idea...He asked me what we were going to do to celebrate Grandma's birthday so this is what we came up with.  I sure love him...he sure loves to celebrate life!  Hopefully he will keep me young!

Spring Choir Concert

Kacie had a track meet in Fruitland and was only able to complete the Long Jump before she had to leave to get ready for her Spring Choir Concert.  She jumped 14 feet and got 8th place out of 50 jumpers.  So I thought she did really well.  Her concert turned out really nice too!  They just really need a better sound system so you can hear the kids.
