James' Baptism...

E.J. & Rosie's family came for James' Baptism.  We had a lot of fun one night doing the slip in slide.  I am still trying to nurse a hurt knee that I injured doing some stretching after a workout so I opted out of participating.  However, I did have lots of fun videoing all the fun!

They decided to line up and everyone go down the slide as fast as they could.  But when it was Rosie's turn she slowed down the process some.  It was so fun and hilarious to watch!

We had a special day witnessing James get baptized by Kyle and then confirmed by his Grandpa Schulthies.

Sunday we had sacrament together at Mom and Dad's and we shared our thoughts and feelings about dad and his dad Ray Schulthies.  It was a special day also.
Mom made this quilt for Mckinley for her graduation.
It's always fun when we can all get together!

Lindsay's Birthday & Father's Day...

June 18th Stacie took Lindsay to Roaring Springs for her birthday.
Brady had a lot of fun with all these girls.

June 21st we celebrated Lindsay's birthday and Father's day!
Can't believe this cute girl is twelve years old.

Such cute kids...

Cole and Kacie came for Jolene's birthday yesterday so it was so fun having them with us!
All Scott could talk about was airguns.  He has been researching them like crazy and I'm sure he will be purchasing one very soon! Haha!
Brady has decided to transfer to Harper in the fall so Scott wore his Harper shirt in honor of Brady.  These two are so handsome!

Lindsay made one of her cute poster cards.  We gave Gerald some chocolates and a card.  We went over early to give my dad his gift and visited for a while and agreed we could celebrate with him later.
We gave Scott an awesome cooler.  Cole and Kacie gave him the DeWalt portable vacuum and Mom & Dad gave him the fly gun. It was a great day!

Graduation Party for Cyrus & Giles...

Friday the 12th I got a call from Kendalee that she wasn't able to get a Graduation cake from Costco and asked if I could make one for them.  I was happy with how it turned out.  Harlan had to go to the hospital earlier in the week with complications with his heart and so we also Traegered four pork shoulders for their party as well.  It took Scott about 24 hours to get them smoked and cooked, but they turned out so yummy.  We were really happy they asked us to help them out.  We sure love this family!

Cyrus graduated from Eastern Oregon with his teaching degree and Giles graduated from Nyssa High School.  Congratulations guys!!!

Doctor & New Braces...

On June 8th I took Brady to have a well child visit with Dr. Dunbrasky.  She spent a lot of time with him visiting about his feelings, diet and health.  They also talked about his autism.  She explained the difference of when people with autism get angry virus people without it.  She held her hand low and said people without autism start here and then she raised her hand up high to when they get really angry.  Then she explained that people with autism are already close to the high spot when they get angry so it doesn't take much to set them off.  After visiting with him and asking lots of questions she concluded that Brady has a lot of anxiety and that she thought starting him on some medicine would help.  So she started him  on Fluoxetine/Prozac at ten milligrams and then a month late increased it to 20mg.  She also wanted him to start taking calcium (1200 mg) with vitamin D3 (400mg) 2 tabs daily.  She didn't think he was getting enough through his diet.  She explained that you only have until your 21 to gain all the calcium for your bones that is why it is so important to have milk when you are young.

On June 9th Brady got braces again.  This time to help get rid of all the gaps in his teeth.  The first time was to help him with his bite.  Dr. Barinaga said he should only have them for about 12-18 months.  Then he will put in some permanent retainers to keep them from separating again.

Brandon's Visit...

After 15 weeks we finally were able to bring Brandon home.  His home wouldn't let anyone in or out due to the stay at home order caused by the coronavirus.  We had a little birthday party for him Saturday evening since we couldn't get together on his actual birthday.  We just invited all his grandparents plus Teniele and her boys.  While we were getting ready to eat Brandon got a little worked up and threw his salad and he would only eat his fruit.  I'm glad we got these cute pictures before.

It was nice having it outside on Mom and Dad's deck.

Mom and Dad splurged and got him a new TV since the volume knob on his is not working right.
We got him 2 pairs of sweats, a T-shirt, two polo shirts, 36 pack of Diet Coke, some chocolate covered blueberries and three music videos and another game for his PlayStation-2.  We also got him a little acoustic guitar that hasn't come in yet.  His Grandpa & Grandma Talbot got him a cute card with memories plus some money and a couple bag of candy bars.  Teniele got him a candy bar and a bottle of diet coke.
It was fun to sit around and listen to stories from his grandparents.  It was an enjoyable evening.  However, he never slept at all Saturday night.  Friday night he only got up once to go to the bathroom so that wasn't so bad.  Sunday he never even got tired and was pretty worked up all day.  It was pretty exhausting.  I sure wish we could connect more with him...it can be so hard.
