Brandon's Comes Home!

We had to go to Boise for Brandon's annual review so we brought him home with us for the weekend.  Friday he was really pleasant but then he didn't sleep very well and he wet the bed.  Saturday and Sunday he was a little more worked up but at least he stayed dry Saturday night.  He didn't eat very well, all he wanted to eat were sweets and pop.  At his review they told us that the doctor took him off the heart healthy diet so Brandon will be happy about that.  Sure love this boy!  I know I say this all the time, but I sure wish he could still communicate with us.

I posted this picture on Facebook and Casey Walker said, "I can still remember in Primary Brandon coming up to me as I sat with my class wanting to talk about the Lakers saying very loudly while partially covering his mouth, Shaq passes to Kobe, Kobe scores LAKERS WIN! I almost did a back flip thinking I was actually at the game! Brandon's AWESOME!"  I love that he shared this!

While we were taking Brandon home our sunroof exploded. We are not sure if a rock hit it or if there was a change in the air pressure that caused it to break. It scared us pretty good. Luckily we were able to make it home before it started raining too hard.

Blue and Gold Banquet

Brady had his Blue and Gold Banquet.  They had a fun Lego theme and all the scouts make a Lego center piece and they gave them each an award.  They had pizza and veggies which I thought was super simple and perfect for little boys.  We missed having Scott and Kacie.  Scott had a bad cold and no voice and Kacie didn't want to go because Mallory wasn't going.  It's always kinda hard for Brady in these social settings, but sometimes I wonder if it is just harder for me as the parent.

Valentine's Day Weekend

Thursday the 13th Brady had his Valentine's Day party at school.  I had a bunch of minute-it to Win-it games for them to play.  They tried to stack as many conversation hearts in a minute.  Then they tried to use a straw and make a happy face with the hearts in a minute.  They also did the cookie one where they try to slide it down their face.  They used a straw and q-tip as Cupids arrow.  I couldn't believe how far they could shoot those q-tips.  Then last we did a marshmallow toss game.  We had marshmallows everywhere, but kids sure had a lot of fun!

It was fun that Kacie was there too!
She's a teacher's aid in Brady's class the last period of the day.
It worked out good because we needed her to pair up with one of the kids.

I surprised the kids and Scott with this and...
I thought these turned out cute for the kids.
Scott surprised me with this.  Can't wait to eat at the Cheesecake Factory...so yummy!
We then went to the Senior night Nyssa girls and boys basketball games.  It was fun!
Jocelyn and Kacie had fun at the game.  So glad they are good friends!

Saturday the 15th Kacie got a weave in her hair.  It turned out really cute.  Later that night the three of use went to the Stake Conference meeting and then she went to the Ontario Stake dance with Mallory. Unfortunately she didn't have a very good time.  I will be so relieved once she can get past this boy!  Jocelyn was so nice to come over Sunday afternoon to help cheer her up! Monday the 17th I got my hair done and then Scott, Kacie and I went to Olive Garden and then Costco.  We can't ever talk Brady into going shopping with us.  Later we had a really good Family Home Evening.  We watched a bunch of Mormon Messages.  It was nice to have such a sweet spirit in our home!

February Fun!

Kacie and Jocelyn took this cute picture at school in the PE locker room.
I love it!
I love this that Mom found and posted on instagram!
I love this one too that I posted on instagram!
Kacie has been working out at Ron and Stacie's house since January getting ready for track.
She has been working really hard at it.

Let it Snow!!!

The kids were bored so we went over to Ron and Stacie's house.  Ryan and Brady had fun playing in the snow.  They went tubing for a while and then I pulled Ryan on the 4-wheeler until I got soaking wet.  It snowed ALL day.  I haven't seen it like this for a long time, but boy do we need it.  Later in the evening I went and bought us some pizza to eat and I have never seen the streets of Ontario so bare.  Sunday they even  had just sacrament meeting because of all of the snow so we went to see Grandma Phyllis for a while after church.

It is funny how much fun kids can have with a big box.
These three had a blast together.

Thursday Kacie got in another big fight with a boy at the basketball game so we spent the whole weekend trying to bring up her spirits.  She even missed school Friday because of it!  Makes me so sad when she gets like this.

Superbowl Fun!

We had a fun Superbowl party at Ron and Stacie's.  We had our traditional nachos which were so yummy.   As you can see Scott and I were cheering for different teams. Scott wanted the Denver Broncos and I wanted the Seattle Seahawks. Lucky for me the Seahawks won but unfortunately they killed them so it wasn't the best game. I was still happy for Seattle since they have never won it before.

Looks like we weren't the only ones on opposite teams! Haha!
