Summer Fun...

Kacie had a lot of fun at BYS again this year.  She was there July 18-20 and roomed with Madi Mitchell.  I can't believe this is her last time going...crazy how time flies.

She made some new friends which is always fun!

These two had fun with the new swim shirts I bought them...I thought Scott looked like Beta Max from Big Hero 6...too funny!

These two went back to BYS one night July 21st just to sing in the choir...

Having fun with snapchat filters while waiting for the movie to start...

We had a lot of fun going to the Drive-In.  This has become our summer tradition.  This time we went to see the newest Ice Age and Independence Day movies.

These two had fun at roaring springs one day with the FFA.
Kacie got invited since they were short on numbers.

July 30th I got my haircut and I changed things up a little and I love it.

Having fun with snapchat filters...they even had some for Harry Potter's birthday on July 31st.

We Love When Cousins Visit...

Rosie and her kids stayed a couple of days after their family reunion on the Oregon Coast.  We had fun working out together, swimming, making s'mores, riding the 4-wheeler and slip n sliding.

The kids always have so much fun together.
We are always sad when they leave.

Josh and Dad's Birthdays...

Saturday we celebrated Josh's birthday at the bowling ally.  We all had a lot of fun and I think I bowled my best game ever with a 136.  That's pretty good for me.

 Brady with the birthday boy!
Sunday we celebrated Dad's 69th birthday.  Sure love this father of mine.
I thought it was cute of Kacie playing with James...

Later in the evening a bunch of family went to Vaughn and Barbara's house for a fun get together.  We snapped this picture of some of the girl cousins that were there.

Brady's Love...

Brady absolutely loves maps and lately he has been telling us how much he loves highways and freeways because they take him places, so mom bought him a laminated map with dry erase markers.  He has been marking all the highways he has traveled and also marking places he wants to go.  I told him if he does good in school we will go to a different place on his map every summer!  We sure love this boy!

Hell's Canyon Trip...

Scott and I were blessed to float the Snake River at Hell's Canyon with some amazing people.  The Stake High Council along with the Auxiliary Presidents were invited to attend with their spouses and because I'm the Stake Primary President we were able to go.  Chris and Dawn Carlton seated next to Scott rode with us which was nice.  I did good going in on all those windy roads, but coming out I got a little car sick. :(

This was our first Class IV rapid and we barely felt it with the big jet boat we were in with three Hamilton engines.

The scenery was so beautiful and I couldn't get enough of the wonderful fresh air.
Our first stop was in the little hidden oasis.
They decided to feed us lunch here since there was a storm coming in.  The food was great!

I saw my first fig tree and tasted my first fresh fig which was so sweet.  I was surprised it was so sweet especially after I found out you're not suppose to pick them until they are purple.
I guess back in the good ole' days there was a lot of sheep herds.

Sure love this guy and so glad we were able to experience this trip together.

Mom and Teniele took these three to see a concert with Alex Boye, David Archuleta, Marie Osmond and the Nashville Tribute Band.  They all had a great time.
They were lucky enough to get a picture with Alex and Marie.
It was a great day for everyone! :)
