Beautiful Fall Weekend & Halloween...

On Thursday October 26th Reid's family came for a visit.  Mom and Brady met them in Meridian to see the new Temple.  We all couldn't believe how nice the weather was, dad said it is due to the temple open-house. (:

On Friday the 27th we all went to the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Fruitland.   We had a great time.  Thankful to Brady for getting us out of the corn maze or I don't think we would ever have got out of there.  haha!

On Saturday the 28th I took the kids to Stoney's to pick apples and then we went to Barbara's to press apples into cider.  Still couldn't believe how beautiful the weather was.  Tara and Barbara made yummy apple fritters and the cider was so delicious.

Garrett and Xander were too cute together!

Monday the 30th the kids painted pumpkins...I thought they turned out so cute!

Kacie and I always have fun with the snapchat filters...
We went to the community truck or treat at Cow Hollow Park then we went to Wanda and Gerald's for a little bit.  It is so weird not having younger kids dressing up anymore.  Josh and James looked super cute though.

The Rushton's looked so cute, I told Tara she should keep that hair color permanently.

Sure love my girl!!!

There's A Snake In My House!

Friday night as we were getting ready to head out to the football game I heard Kacie scream so I ran to the hallway and there was a snake.  We couldn't believe it!  I didn't know what to do so I went to get my phone to call Scott and when I came back the snake was gone and we couldn't find it.  Scott wasn't very happy that we let it get away but I wasn't about to touch it.  We went to the game and that night Scott set a bunch of rat traps.  I couldn't believe we went to sleep with a snake in our house.  The next day while we were at Stacie's Scott sent me this picture of the snake caught in a small mouse trap and the snake was still alive.  We couldn't believe we caught it and that little trap when we had all these huge ones all over the house.

I told Scott if we ever get another snake in our house I'm moving!!! haha!

All-American & Trip to Dr. Bender...

This is so cool that Taylor was named a 2017 U.S. Paralympic Track and Field High School All-American in the sprint events.  She finished the 100-meter in 13.64 and the 200-meter in 29.08 and the 400-meter in 67.32.  At state she took 1st in the para-100m and 2nd in the para-400m.  We are so proud of Taylor!  She amazes us everyday.
Took Kacie to see her kidney doctor, she now sees Dr. Bender.  Everything looked really good and they changed her medicine back to only twice a day and Kacie seems to like that a lot better.  We always have a good time in Boise when we have to go.
