Malheur County Fair...

Taylor had a great week showing her horse at the fair.
She loved every minute of it and did really well for her first year!

Brady and I went Friday night...He went on two rides with Lindsay.  They were also going to ride a big monster truck but after they were on and ready to go they were told to get off because it had caught on fire...Luckily they got it out, but they were bummed they didn't get to ride.

We went to the rodeo for a little bit, but it was sure hot!
Brady enjoyed his snowcone...that's one way to beat the heat!

We couldn't handle the heat anymore so we went to see Taylor's horse.  Couldn't believe all of those ribbons.  I am so amazed by all that she can do being legally blind.  She is such an inspiration.

I love this picture that she used that Kacie took of her.

Kacie had fun several nights with her friends.

Josh's birthday and Family Time

Saturday we went to Joshua's birthday party...it was fun! Joshua's favorite present was the fire costume from the Garners...he wouldn't take it off.  He is such a cute, can't believe he is 6!

These two have fun together...I love it!

After the party we cleaned house for a bit and then that night we went to Panda Express and Dutch Bros. It's always fun when we are all together, I just wish Brandon was able to join us...

Sunday evening Brady wanted to go for a drive up to the Owyhee Dam so just the three us went.  Kacie hung out with friends.
 Sure love this guy!!

We walked to the end of the first boat ramp and let Brady throw rocks.
He loved it!
Scary how low the water is...
Still praying we have a good and wet Winter coming up...

Temple...

We had a great evening at the temple doing sealings for some of Wanda's family.   It always is extra special when you know the people you are doing the work for.

They just don't seem to age at all...
Temple selfies...Haha! Sure love this guy!
After the temple we closed out Cafe Rio...
always good food and we just had too much fun visiting together.

July 13-19

Brady was so excited to get to go to Utah with Grandma Sue (7/13-7/19) while she helped babysit Rosie's kids while her and Mckinley went to girls camp.  Brady had so much fun...They went to see the Minion Movie,  swam, played at the park and even went to the Lagoon where he got to ride the new Canibal ride.  Grandma even rode the spider with him and hated it! Haha!  She even stayed with him after Rosie's family left and Brady rode Wicked and Colossus several times by himself.

 Five guys at Five Guys!!!
Brady was in trauma until he found out they had hot dogs.
Kacie went to BYS July 16-18 and LOVED it!  I was so happy for her.  I was so proud of her by going and not even knowing her roommate.  She loved her group and was able to make a lot of new friends.
Tami sent me this picture of them.  She said it made her day when Kacie ran up to give her a hug.

These two really hit it off...

 Kacie's BYS counselors...
Some of the girls in Kacie's group.
She said she loved it all, but especially the dance! (:
Sunday the 19th we celebrated Gerald's birthday, can't believe he is 75...
he looks way too good!
We had a small, but great party with some amazing food.

Las Vegas...

On July 2nd Kacie had an appointment with Dr. Jenkins and Scott lost a filling in his tooth that had to be filled so once we got that all taken care of then we headed out to Las Vegas.  We left Boise around 1:00 and got to Reid's house around 11pm.
Brady and I checked out the Snake River in Twin Falls while Scott was buying some shorts.

On Friday the 3rd the boys all went fishing near Cedar City, Utah while the kids, Laura and I went swimming.  It was fun.

We got to spend two nights at the Bellagio hotel, one of Brady's favorite places.  This was our view from our room.  We were on the 23rd floor so our room number was 23044.  Scott researched our hotel and we learned that there are 3000 rooms and it is one of the top ten hotels in the world so we were pretty lucky to be there.

The garden was just as beautiful as always.
Mom wanted to treat Brady to this cool experience so she paid for one night and we paid for the other.  We sure love her and so grateful for all that she does for us.

Mom went to help us check in and then her and Kacie went back to Reid's so Scott could come down after his fishing trip.  Brady and I stayed down by the foundations and watched about 5 shows and then we watched more from our room.  He was in Heaven, but it was hot as @#%$!!!

I've never seen a bathtub fill up as fast as this one did.

So beautiful!!

Saturday the 4th we went to Brielle's baptism.  She is such a little cutie!

Pretty exciting when a whole nation celebrates your baptism....Haha!

After the baptism Reid rented this fun slide so the kids and big kids...aka adults could have fun swimming.  It was fun!
Love this picture! We then headed back down to the strip and Kacie and I walked down to the M&M and Coke store.  We found a Coke with Brandon's name on it and we bought a couple for Kacie and Scott to enjoy.  At the M&M store we bought Kacie and Brady a T-shirt and a big bottle of M&Ms.

Scott learned you can't pick up anything from the Mini-bar because it automatically charges you whether you eat/drink it or not.  His bottle of water cost him $10.00.  Hope he enjoyed it!

Brady was glued to that window whenever he wasn't sleeping.
It was fun watching the fireworks but we wished we were on the other side of Caesars.  We would have had a better view.
Kacie was getting a little tired of the fountains at this point.

Two States Apart!
Sunday the 5th we checked out and went to Ihop for Breakfast and then drove out to see Hoover Dam.   It was fun, but I was surprised how scared Brady was of the heights.

Had some yummy frozen custard at Nelsons and then we got some really expensive popcorn flavored white cheddar and pickle.
We then drove through the strip one last time before heading back to Reid's house for the night.

This is from one of our favorite TV shows.  It doesn't look like much in real life.
