Rock n Roll
(Grandparents Day)
Oct 12th
Brady was so cute out there dancing with both of his grandmother's to all the old 50's music.

Jaxon will Wynn 5K Oct 20th
I decided to attempt my first 5K.  Olivia Walker held one in Adrian for her senior project and to help support her cousin Jaxon who is 5 and battling cancer.  I can't say I how much I really enjoyed it but was so glad I did it to support this adorable little boy and his cute family.  Next time I defiantly need to be in better shape.
Me and Sydney Hartley (she did great!)
I was so happy Brady did the mile fun run.  I think maybe next time I will do that with him, haha!
Me with some of Weston & Lori's family.  I love these guys!
Me with Jaxon and his cute family (parents Bobby and Michelle Wynn)

Mom's New Camera Oct 26th
Diana came with her Mom and Dad for a short visit to see the Boise Temple open house.  While they were at Costco Mom decided to get a new Nikon D5100 so Diana was giving us pointers on how to use it.  Here are just a few of the hundreds of pictures we tested on it.  I think Mom is really going to enjoy it.

 Flipping Pancakes Oct 27th
Brady loves to help me in the kitchen and today wanted to try flipping pancakes.  I have to admit I was pretty scared to let him try, I thought I would have pancake batter everywhere but he did really good.  I think he did just about as good as me, a true natural.  Who knows maybe Brady will be the next big Iron Chef!

Brady's Baptism & Confirmation

Our Primary President Tara Hartley brought up this little packet of goodies for Brady's baptism.  I love the towel with his name on it!

I just love Jaynee she is such a good friend for Brady.  While we were waiting for the meeting to start he kept looking back to see if they were there and was so excited when they showed up.
Riley Griffin was also baptized with Brady.  Pictured with Riley is his uncle George, Mom-Maryjane and Dad-Mike.
All of Brady and Riley's cousins sang, 'When I Am Baptized.'  It was cute!  Mom gave the Baptism talk and did an awesome job! She talked about how they are now Christ's sons and how they need to act and represent Him.  She also gave them both a handout about dingy and shinny pennies.  She had a dingy one to represent sin and two shinny ones dated 2004 and 2012 to represent their birth year and year they got baptized to show how shinny and new they are.  It was real effective...I love to hear her speak, she always does great!  Riley's grandma Gaylene Ellsworth gave the Holy Ghost talk and his grandpa Bill Ellsworth gave the opening prayer and Gerald Talbot gave the closing prayer.  It was a really good meeting!
 The Talbots that came!
All The Schulthies Family that came...I think we are missing some for the picture though.

Sunday morning Brady woke up and said he was so happy to be baptized and then went up to Scott and said, "Thanks Dad for baptizing me."  It was really special and cute!  Scott did an amazing job on the confirmation blessing.  Brady was kind of shy going up front and I don't think he got to shake everyone's hand before he got in a hurry to leave.  It was pretty cool that all three of us bore our testimonies.  It has been a long time for me and especially Scott and it was Brady's first time.  Mckinley was cute and went up to help him.  It was a special meeting.
You can always count on the grandparents to be there! Love them all!
Pictured (LtoR): EJ Raven, Van Schulthies, Scott, Ron and Gerald Talbot with Brady!  Not pictured but in the circle were: Ruben Cardenas, Zac Cleaver, Scott's Uncle Stephen Talbot, Stoney, Weston & Logan Schulthies.

After church we had a wonderful dinner.  Scott spent the last two days cooking pork for pulled pork sandwiches and then everyone that came brought a side dish and we bought two Costco cakes.

Harlen and Kendalee were so sweet to get Brady the Tom Brady jersey for his birthday and baptism.  He was so proud of his shirt.  He went right home after church and changed into it.  It was cute!
I found these two peeking over the cake.  Too cute!
It was so nice of Rosie and EJ to come so far for the weekend!  They had to leave right after church, but I was so glad they came.

It was an enjoyable day.  I made a 34-minute slide show of Brady.  (I actually made it twice since my computer crashed just a week before his baptism and I hadn't finished yet because I wanted his baptism pictures in before I completed it, such a downer, but I got it done!)  He was so cute to watch it with.  He would get so excited over each picture.  I can't believe my baby boy is now 8 and baptized! Wow how time flies!  I sure love this boy!

Boise Temple Open House (Oct 13th)

It was a special day to have all my kids go through the temple together and especially for Brady since he got baptized on the same day.  I loved the short video they showed prior to the tour.  It had a lot of neat history of the church in the Boise area.
A temple volunteer had to push Brandon through the temple so we would know where to go for the wheelchair access.  At the end he was so sweet and thanked me for allowing him to be with such a pure spirit in the temple.  He really touched my heart.  It sure put everything into perspective for me, especially for those days when I start feeling sorry for myself.
Brady loves water falls and fountains!

We were all able to go through the tour together.  We just missed having Reid's family with us and Ruben.  Ron and Stacie's family were in the tour just prior to us.

After the tour we all went to Golden Corral for lunch.  Then Mom took Brandon home for us while we went to Costco to pick up the dinner rolls and cakes for Sunday's dinner.

Friday Mom bought another Box elder tree to replace Kaylin's tree that went over in a bad wind storm this past summer.

Oct 12th Rosie's Family Visits

Rosie's family came in late Thursday for Brady's baptism so we thought it would be fun Friday night for the kids to dress up and go trick or treating at Grandma Joans, Mom and Dad's and Gene and Dawn's camper.  We didn't get to Grandma's house before she had to leave so she just came to my house and we did it there.

 James is so cute!
 Kyle and Kacie!

We love it when Gene and Dawn come hunting every year! They are just like family!
