Girl's Weekend...

Thursday the 18th Mom, Teniele, and I drove to Utah to meet Kacie at Tremonton.  We ate there then she followed us to Rosie's house.  We then had some dinner at her house before heading to Midvale to see the Ice Castles.  Mom made everyone one of these hot pads from some of Grandma Della's flannel.
Looks like Max made it in one of our pictures...haha!

The Ice Castles were a lot of fun but boy was it cold.
We were all glad we had boots even though my feet still got cold but at least they were dry.

We got an older gentleman to take our picture and this was the best one we got.  The rest were selfies of himself...haha!

I have no idea what happened in this picture...but it makes me laugh!

After the Ice Castles, we went to our home in Orem for the weekend.
The next morning we slept in had breakfast then went to the outlets in Lehi.
We did a little shopping then got some lunch.

We ate lunch here at Aubergine.
It was really good and very healthy.
Teniele didn't want to risk it so she got Subway next door.
Friday night we played games and relaxed.

Kyle came over for a short visit around 10pm.  He looks good!
This is the view out our back window... a golf course and club house.
It's a nice home.
Saturday morning Mom paid for us all to get pedicures.  We then went back to the house to change before getting some lunch and more shopping.

We had lunch at Cubby's.
Kacie and I each had a hamburger and shared some rosemary fries.  It was good.

We all had a blast helping mom try on clothes at Torrid in the mall.  Kacie said that was the most fun she's had shopping.  We then found a lot of cute clothes at Downeast.  I was really happy I found a cute dress, coat, sweater, and turtleneck.  When we got back to the house around 7:30 Pam and Tricia were there and then Mallory and Josie came with little Dean.  We all had fun visiting and catching up.

We babysat cute little Dean while all the girls went to get Dutch Bros.
I can't wait to be a grandma.

Josie went back to Ogden around midnight, but Mallory stayed the night with us.  Kacie said they stayed up till 5:00am catching up.  They talked about her mission in Italy and Kacie's married life.

Sunday we watched my 2020 slideshow and took a few more pictures before checking out.

We went to visit mom's Aunt Alta and cousin Sandy before heading home.

Sandy was showing us a legacy book that Diana had made and I found this cute picture of me and Grandma Alder.  I love the shock on her face when she realized that mom was taking her picture! (:

We had a fun weekend!  I hope we can make this an annual tradition and hopefully Laura and her girls can come next time.
