Brandon's New Looks & Concert...

I was shocked when I got this picture of Brandon with a full beard then a few days later and I got one all cleaned shaved.  We sure love our Brandon.  We love that smile!

Cole and Kacie had fun at the Foreigner concert with some of Cole's family on September 21, 2021.

Zach Meets Grandpa and Grandma...

Friday, September 16th Mom and Dad headed to Utah to meet little Zachariah.

Saturday they were able to see Josh and James' graduation from Tae Kwon Do.  After they took the boys to Rosie's for the night.

I can't believe how Braxton has fixed up this old farm truck of dad's

Sunday they went back to Rusty and Teniele's house to spend the night.  Dad forgot his medicine so Rosie saved the day by bringing it to them.  Looks like she got some more Zach time! (:

Monday Dad drove a rental back home and I drove to Caldwell to pick him up.  Jaynee had to prepare a healthy dinner for her nutrition class so Mom picked her up so she could do it at their house since she doesn't have access to a kitchen in her dorm.  I'm sure they didn't mind getting a dinner out of the deal.

Brandon & Sharon's Funeral...

Missie from Brandon's home sent me these pictures of Brandon.  I can't believe how much his beard has grown.  Scott said Brandon can grow a better beard than he can.  I sure miss him!

Saturday the 17th Scott and I went to Sharon Pickler's funeral.  She was Jason's mom and could talk to anyone at anytime.

Lindsay & Harper Volleyball...

I got these pictures of Lindsay playing middle school volleyball from the Harper yearbook Facebook page.  I really hope I get a chance to watch her play this year.  I can't believe she is an eighth grader.

Grandma Alder's Birthday...

I posted these of grandma for her birthday.  I sure miss her!  I love this picture of the two of us!  I had so much fun going on camping trips and still can't believe the day grandma and grandpa both came to my house to help me can green beans.  That was such a fun memory.

Taken shortly after Kacie was born...
Taken when Reid came home from his mission and he gave his homecoming talk and Kacie was blessed on the same day.
Love this picture of the two of them.
The one below was taken on Easter.

Kailani's Mission Farewell...

Kailani did an amazing job today on her mission farewell.   I was amazed how she didn't read any part of her talk and spoke a lot about how the Lord knows us and how her delayed trip to Europe was meant for her to prepare her for her mission.  Tiffany Farmer spoke with her and did a good job also speaking on charity.  Weston and Lori had a yummy meal for everyone after church.  It was so nice to catch up and spend time with family, especially Juliene.  She might have broken her foot yesterday working on her parent's yard by dropping a railroad tile on it. Ouch!!
Tara didn't get the memo to wear orange! haha!
I sure love this family!

Too funny!

Mom made her a beautiful journal with some Hawaiian fabric.  She put pictures of her grandparents in it.  It was pretty tender for all of us to think of them passing plus seeing poor Jaynee having to leave to go back to college knowing she probably won't see her for three years because she will be on her mission when she gets back.

Sure love this girl, she is going to make an amazing missionary!

Painting Our House & Kacie Decorates...

With all the preparation I have done to my flower beds adding compost and peat moss I realized that my house was looking pretty bad and that I should probably paint it before I plant all the perennials I ordered from Gurney's.  Saturday, September 3rd Scott and I went over to Home Depot and we got some caulking, plastic, and tape to start prepping for paint.  After a lot of debating on which color to go with I decided on a color similar to what I already have.  So the base color is Silvermist and the trim is Alabaster by Sherwin Williams in the Duration line of paint.  What I didn't realize was I was matching it to the faded color.  It wasn't until we took the shutters off that we saw how faded our paint had gotten.  However, I really like the paint we went with.  Friday the 9th Stacie said I could leave early from work so I could buy my paint and get started.  Friday I did more caulking and then I started painting Saturday.  I got the west and north side of the carport done and then mom suggested I do not do the west side of the house since it was pretty hot so then I almost got the north side of the house done before it was getting dark.  That was a long day!

Saturday Kacie spent the day decorating her house for fall.  I love the new table runner mom made for her.  Her house looks so nice!

I decided I should take a few before pictures.  However, this was taken after the shutters were removed.  I can't believe we have lived 21 years with the bad touch-up job the installers did on this house by not matching the paint better.

I went with this paint for my front door in Black Tricorn.  I sure hope I like it.

Welcome Zachariah Ned Stubbs...

Zachariah Ned Stubbs made his grand entrance into this world on September 8, 2022, at 7:33 am.  He weighed 7 lbs, 12 oz and was 19.5 inches long and so dang cute!  We are so happy baby and momma are doing good.  The little guy was breached and Teniele was having trouble with her blood pressure and diabetes so the doctor decided he needed to come a couple of weeks early via C-section.  They stayed in the hospital for three nights to make sure everyone was healing well before they went home on Sunday September 11th.

That's one proud papa!(:

We are so happy for this cute little family!!

So precious!!!
Our little angel sent from heaven!
