One Year Since We Lost Aunt Shelley...

I can't believe Shelley isn't with us anymore and that it has already been a year since she passed.  All of her family got together at the Owyhee church and had a picnic.  Mom and Dad went down and helped them set off some lanterns.  I'm so glad Annie was able to come too so they could all be together.  We sure miss her and love her and this family!

New Car...

About a month or two ago Scott saw this car for sale for $31k then they dropped the price to 27K and he was tempted.  However, when they lowered it again to $25,200 he couldn't resist any longer.   So Scott and Zac made the trip to Bend to buy this 2017 BMW 330I M Sport X-Drive.  They were both pretty excited.  I think it has been over 20 years that Scott has been wanting a BMW and now he got one and this one is loaded.  I've never seen such a high-tech car.

I love the interior color.
I'm really happy for Scott, I just wish it was about four months later when our Camry lease is done.  Oh well, you have to jump on the deals when they come up.  The credit union told us they could have lent $39 on it so we feel pretty good about the deal we are getting.  It was so nice of Zac to spend the day with Scott and drive him over.

Teniele and Rusty Stubbs Engagement...

Thursday the 22nd Rusty Stubbs came to visit for the first time.  I was sooo shocked when mom called after the track meet to tell me that Teniele was engaged.  I am so happy for her.   They are cute together and he seems to fit right in with the family.  They are talking about getting married on August 3rd.

Rusty stayed until Monday.  Friday night they made us some yummy Navajo tacos.  That was a first for me and I really liked them.  Sunday we all had a good visit.  Rusty and Scott seem to have a lot in common which is pretty cool.

Track...

Yesterday I went to watch Lindsay get first in the long jump with a crazy 15 feet jump.  She got second in the high jump with 4 feet 4 inches jump and 4th in the pole vault with a six-foot jump.  She also ran in the 4x100 relay and they got 5th.  She did so well for her first middle school track meet and only a sixth-grader.

Today I went to watch Ryan.  He got first in the 110 hurdles but it wasn't his fastest time.  I think she best time is 15.10.

We then watched him jump in the pole vault.  That is so exciting/scary to watch and he did so well.  He broke the Harper record with 13' 1" last week and then today he broke his own record with a jump of 14 feet.  He tried for the state 1A record of 14' 7" and was so close but didn't quite make it.  That was so fun!  We are so proud of Ryan and Lindsay!
I can't believe Brady is almost as tall as Ryan now.

Lake Owyhee...

Sunday the three of us decided to drive up the lake.  We were surprised by how low the water level was.  I guess we shouldn't have been, because it has been such a dry, cold, and windy spring.

This was a new sign since we have been here last.

We love our Sunday drives.

Brandon's 27th Birthday...

After work on Friday the 9th I went to pick up Brandon for the night.  When we got home we had Papa Murphy's pizza with salad and then a celebration cheesecake with all Brandon's grandparents.  Brandon was in such a good mood, I can't believe he will be 27 on Sunday.  I absolutley love all the cute pictures I was able to get of him.

I'd say he had a good birthday...

On our way back to his home in Meridian.
I'm glad we had his party Friday night because Saturday he was starting to get a little more worked up probably because he didn't sleep well.  We watched some movies and he listened to music so it was a good visit.  After we dropped him off we sent to eat at Cafe Rio and then Scott and Brady got their Dutch Bros.

Easter & Mom's Birthday...

On Saturday the 3rd we went to grandma's Easter egg hunt.  It was fun to see all those that were there and it was nice to have Rosie's family there too.

We missed Kyle and Mckinley.  Kyle went to Twin Falls with his new girlfriend.  We found out that she has the exact same birthday as Kacie and they were both born in St. Luke's in Boise... small world.  Mckinley stayed in Utah to watch Max.

Cousins...(:

Brandon's daughter dressed up as the Easter bunny.

The weather was perfect.

Brady's Easter basket...
Saturday night we had dinner for Mom's 76th birthday.  Scott grilled brisket and Tri-Tip, it was so yummy.  Then we watched one of the most thrilling basketball games I've ever seen between Gonzaga and UCLA.  Gonzaga ended up winning 93-90 in overtime with a last-second shot from almost half-court with no time left on the clock.  We were all screaming we were so shocked and excited.

Sunday we watched General Conference, had dinner together again, played kickball, threw a football, and made resurrection rolls.  I added some quotes from conference.

Brady loves hearing about the new temples.
We all couldn't believe they announced 20 new ones.

Carley went over to Kacie's and they put together these adorable vegetable and fruit trays.

I loved getting this picture of Brandon with his Easter basket.

Monday the 5th Mom's ministering sister Julene Bowens made this cute cake for her birthday.  She also got flowers from Kendalee and Tara.  I gave her a white bedspread that she can display different quilts over the top.  I was so happy she liked it.
Watching conference and Snapchatting Kacie...

Monday night Mom took all the kids riding for a little while.  We also watched the NCAA basketball championship game.  Gonzaga lost to Baylor, they just didn't play very well.  We were all disappointed.  It was a nice weekend and so fun to have Rosie family visit.
