Scott's Talk and Birthdays...

Today Scott had to give a talk in church.
Life isn't too fun at our house the week before a talk but he did a great job! haha!
I always love hearing him speak.  He spoke with Brother Lungren, it was a great meeting.

It's been a while since we've had our picture together so I thought it would be fun to get one on the day of his talk.  Brady did a great job taking our picture.
It was so sweet of one of the sister missionaries to give this little note to Scott.
Rosie and Teniele's families came to help out on the farm while dad is still recuperating from surgery.  Sunday we celebrated Blake and James' birthdays.

The boys worked so hard to take apart an old pivot for scrap metal.

Angels Among us Walk...

Wade had this great idea for our families to walk the canal from my parent's house to his parent's house and we would call it the "Angels Among Us Walk".  Juliene helped him organize it and she even had T-shirts made up for each family that wanted to buy some.  It was pretty fun that so many came.
Just Brady and I represented our family!  I thought about running it but decided I wanted to be able to visit with different people as we went and I am so glad I did because I had a lot of nice visits.  I enjoyed hearing stories from Preston of him growing up.  He said he would catch lizards along the canal and sell them at school. haha!
We love Tara!

Wade said a few things before we started.
He got emotional talking about his heritage and especially his parents.
Pretty cool!!

We were just studying this week how the Israelites added 12 stones to remember the twelve tribes of Israel when they passed over the River Jordan on dry ground, so Tara thought it would be cool to stack up ten stones for their family.

Tommy and I ran down the hill and up to the house.
It felt good and I was so glad neither one of us twisted an ankle or knee on the way down.

A bunch were having fun playing spike ball.

Riley and Thyane

Have to have a game of softball.
However it was cut short because of a rain storm.
We have sure had a lot of rain this spring.  It has been an answer to a lot of prayers and fasting.

Lawson, Caleb and James

We were able to sneak away to decorate Kaylin's grave for Memorial Day.
Uncle Brent Hartley had a hanging basket for all the family graves.
It was a fun, but exhausting day.
